This establishment has been some of the best seafood fare I have eaten in Texas. The fried fish and shrimp are exceptional. Expertly fried and not greasy at all. Their homemade tartar and cocktail sauces are excellent and should be jarred and sold at grocery stores. Their boiled crawfish was flavorful. I had the cajun and garlic spice mix as recommended by Lilly. The crawfish étouffée was spot on. It was served with a generous helping of their steamed rice and a large portion of etouffee. They offer gumbo in two portions. The portions are a cup or bowl. I ordered a cup. They proceeded to provide me with a portion that could have been a meal on its own. This is refreshing as most establishments when ordering a cup size will place an espresso cup in front of you filled with their fare. I don’t even know what the size of the bowl portion would be. The gumbo tasted great and had the flavor of a roux that had been painstakingly prepared and not from a pouch or a can. My son decided he wanted an order of General Tso’s Chicken. It was served with a generous portion of their fried rice and some of the most flavorful chicken I have eaten in this variety with slices of jalapeño intermingled. It was a flavorful and original take on General Tso’s Chicken. Now, for their star dish. It is the shrimp fried rice. My coworkers and I have been ordering from Marinas on Fridays during Lent and the shrimp fried rice is everyone’s favorite. As a matter of fact we leave out the french fries and ask for extra rice no matter the extra cost. It is awesome with whole shrimp in the rice it is a perfect complement to their generously portioned family combos. Try this place. You will not be...
Read moreWent online to order a Civil combo number one it’s online for $28.98then when I get into the place they tell me it is $34.99+ tax so I’m like well why is it online for $28.99 the cashier was very rude when I asked her about the price she wanted to argue with me and I’m telling her. I’m just looking at it from online now. If it’s different then you guys should take this online pricing down she tells me you can talk to the manager so I’ll talk to the manager she say yeah that’s from a year ago somebody the old owners put that up that’s not my responsibility. I don’t care when I look at the price it says $28.99 it’s not my responsibility. They should be able to contact somebody and have them take that time, but that’s neither here nor there she did it on or whatever was online she did not honor and she was like yeah that’s what it is I hate got going somewhere where they don’t have a good customer service or outstanding customer service and I’m not even saying that she had to give me the price but what I am saying is honor it if that’s what you have it on the website for and the customer service the cashier...
Read moreHighly recommend! Their prices are beyond reasonable and the quality is just awesome! I love their 30 fried shrimp and french fries (or fried rice) deal because it's only $11.95 for some good size shrimp! They are also very generous with their sauces, so if you are an overindulgent dipper, have no fear - go ask for more sauce, they won't judge you. Well, I can't guarantee that they won't - but they'll give you more sauce without making you feel guilty. Their crawfish are also flavored very well. You have the option of mild, spicy, and something more spicy as well as Cajun or garlic butter. I haven't tried the Cajun yet, but the garlic butter has satisfied me enough to not have to try something new quite yet. The staff members are friendly and work pretty quickly to get your order to you. They have outside seating and the best part - they have a sink next to the drink fountain so when you're done peeling tails, you can quickly wash off without having to wait for the bathroom to free up. Definitely...
