Being in the service industry I'm one who understands being in the quote "weeds" or occasionally messing up an order or maybe just having an off day. That being said this is definitely not the case. It was a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. We checked in at the host stand and were given a 20 minute wait, no problem there. They finally seat us, my wife and two year old grandson in the time frame they gave us in the bar area. It took 25 minutes before we were greeted by our server who was the bartender as well for our drinks. It took another 10 minutes before we got our waters and another 15 minutes before we even got chips and dip. We placed our order as soon as we got the chips and it took almost an hour till it was delivered to our table without our grandson food, which should always be brought out first or even offered (if you're a good server you know this). It took another 10 minutes for my grandson's chicken nuggets to come out and by this time our foods getting cold due to having to keep our starving kiddo distracted. Also I even placed the empty margarita glass on the edge of the table infront of the server/bartender and was not offered another drink. So we just asked for the check and to go boxes. Unacceptable. Yes he was the bartender/server but its no excuse for a bar that consisting of four patrons at the bar top, us, and another two top in his section. I understand that he has to make drinks for the whole restaurant but again this wasn't the case and had nothing to do with it in this situation. Seemed like the server was more interested in bar talk with the Sunday football patrons instead of providing...
Read moreToday, my mother and I had the pleasure of experiencing one of the best dining experiences we've had in recent months. We were first greeted by two amazing young ladies with beautiful, bright smiles that made us feel very welcomed. Then, we had the pleasure of being waited on by what I can only describe as a true gem, Mr. Sammy Rodriguez. From start to finish, Sammy provided top-notch, 5-star service. It was the fine details that my mother and I both noticed, setting this experience above and beyond any we've had before. We normally frequent another Gringo's location, but after this evening, we've decided that the Fuqua location may be our new favorite, thanks to Sammy's impeccable service and kind manner. Our drinks never went empty because Sammy was always there to refill them right away or replace them with a freshly filled glass. He even took the time to ensure that my mother's cucumber salad was served on a separate plate, keeping it cool so she could enjoy it without it being warmed by the rest of her meal. This was just one of the many thoughtful touches that made our dinner wonderful. And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, we had the pleasure of meeting Elizabeth Bolado, one of the managers at the location. She was phenomenal. Initially, we started off by praising Sammy and his exceptional service, but we soon found ourselves complimenting Elizabeth for how she conducted herself and managed the restaurant. All in all, this experience solidified this location as my new favorite Gringo's. If you visit, I highly recommend asking for Sammy or Elizabeth. They truly made our...

Upon arrival at Gringo's, the initial impression was less than stellar due to an oversight in cleanliness. The saucers intended for chips and queso at our table were noticeably dirty. This was disappointing, and the situation was exacerbated by the host's response when I requested clean plates; his glare was off-putting and made me feel like a bother rather than a valued guest.
However, the dining experience took a positive turn with the introduction of our waitress, Bailey. Her attentiveness and genuine helpfulness greatly enhanced our evening. Bailey was quick to address our needs, offered great menu suggestions, and ensured our drinks were always refilled, bringing a warm and welcoming vibe that the host initially missed.
The food itself at Gringo's was delightful. The menu offerings were robust, featuring a variety of flavorful dishes that seemed well-prepared and presented. The ambiance of the restaurant, aside from the initial hiccup, was lively and inviting, suitable for both families and groups of friends.
In conclusion, while the start of our visit could have been smoother, the excellent service provided by Bailey and the quality of the meals served were enough to leave a positive impression. I rate Gringo's 4 out of 5 stars, as there is a slight room for improvement in ensuring that all staff members contribute to a welcoming atmosphere right from the beginning and that sanitary...
