I normally don’t leave reviews, but my experience at this furniture store was so unpleasant that I felt the need to share it.
When I first walked in, I was greeted by a helpful staff member who assisted me in picking out a bed and a living room table. We discussed pricing and I asked if there was any room to negotiate on the side tables that came with the living room set. The staff member went to check with another person—presumably the manager or owner (the same person pictured on the store’s Google profile).
When he heard my offer, he responded with extreme aggression and said something along the lines of: “I would come to your house and lick your toilet if you can find it for that price anywhere else.” His tone was loud, hostile, and completely unnecessary. His face turned red, and he went from calm to angry in seconds.
All I needed was a simple “no” if the price wasn’t possible—there was no need for such an aggressive and disrespectful reaction. To me, this wasn’t just unprofessional; it felt personal. I can’t help but feel that my accent and background played a role in the way I was treated. I believe if I were an American customer, I wouldn’t have been spoken to that way.
Even though this happened a couple of months ago, the experience stuck with me. No customer—especially one who may not speak English fluently—deserves to be treated like that. What shocked me even more was that as I was leaving, another staff member came to the door and looked out to see what car I was driving, which felt intrusive and unnecessary.

Read moreThis is my first time ever feeling the need to write a review for a business, especially for one very close to home. I am quite frankly disappointed with the way I was treated when it came down to closing this deal and how I have been treated thereafter, making this overall a terrible buying experience. As community focused and customer oriented this business claims to be, I have since felt nothing but the opposite regard. Mattress shopping around other similar mattress dealers in the area it was clear, the "inclusions" to this $3k mattress deal fell significantly short to it's competitors. I wish I would have mattress shopped around first before being locked into this no return situation (unless you're willing to pay a 20% restocking fee). I HIGHLY ADVISE MATTRESS SHOPPING ELSEWHERE. First, I was told since there were no mattress protectors in store I would receive one early the following week - I made multiple calls, would not be given any direct answer and I only then received one after having to show up physically in person. Who knows if I ever would have gotten one had I not shown up. Secondly, when I did make these calls throughout the entirety of the week I was told I'd be followed up with and that again fell short. Almost as if it was an oh well, the deal is done. The mattress itself was never the issue, it was how I was treated as a customer that I am extremely displeased with.
In sum, Hilton will not be getting any future business from me, and I will strongly advise anyone I know to refrain from any furniture...
Read moreBack in February of 2021 myself and my family had to move suddenly and we purchased basically a whole house worth of furniture from Hilton furniture. We had asked around for recommendations and even visited some big stores in the area and of course they all had nice furniture and let me tell they had a really NICE price to go along with it too. Late in the evening we finally got to Hilton and met Mr. Doug. Oh and by the way Hilton himself was there too he greeted us asked us what we had in mind and even made a few suggestions. Mr. Doug hands down is one of the most consistent considerate salesman I’ve met. Choosing my bedroom, my sons bedroom were simple but my daughter she’s very picky and of course we wanted her to have exactly what she wanted. He took so much time with her and he was so patient and understanding you would have thought she was furniture shopping with her dad or grandpa. He got us all squared away we paid some cash and financed the rest which was extremely simple we even got free lamps. Now fast forward to this week my daughters bed broke at no fault of the quality or anything because it’s great it was my daughter and her friends. Well we called the store and Mr. Robert set up the service no questions asked Mr. Doug sent the repair guys over the same day and the bed is good as new absolutely no complaints they even put extra support.
