Griff's — Restaurant in Houston

Can you believe that this place was up in flames a year ago? Now it's back in business and smells so fresh. So many upgrades, come see for yourself!!

Let's start with a few changes. They now have almost 20 TVs so there are lots of places to view your sports or shows. The surround sound that they had installed is phenomenal, it's loud and clear! Something I want to see is how they handle football season. If I can watch my team in a corner by myself this place will be my spot forever. The layout that they have now is so much more open and spacious.

Now let's talk about alcoholic beverages. They have draft beer so around 10+ spouts and they are fully stocked on spirits. So pick your poison. The bartender is so responsive and good at their job.

The food is amazing!!! Try it! I recommend the wings! The menu has a lot of options. But something I like the most is the condiment caddy. It has all your needs.

COME HERE BRING YOUR GROUPS AND HAVE FUN!

The most important thing is that the people are cool and the employees are relaxed and patient. Remember this spot is still new, so give it some time to develop.

I live down the road so I will be a frequent flyer!!

Oh by the way if the ASTROS are playing they give jello shots to all patrons when a HOMERUN is made! They are strong and delicious.

They also have a jukebox machine to play music so come play your jams when there isn't sports on the TVs

clean restrooms too!

This is one of the WORST bars I’ve been to. I was part of the Z bra Krewe with the Art show festival and we came here to eat afterwards. First of all, this place is run down and dirty in the inside. 2nd, a gentleman sitting at the bar yelled a vulgar remark to my friend who was simply asking the bartender to prepare our drinks and food. The bartender did not say anything to this gentleman but responded ‘Okay everyone just cool down’ when clearly he should have corrected this rude gentleman sitting at the bar. Furthermore I and my friends had to wait over 15 for someone to take our food order. Finally when the bartender began to take my order I was finishing a brief convo with a friend d when he went to take someone else’s order with an attitude. I said I have not ordered yet. And with an attitude he says ‘Well what do you want?’ I said nothing from you guys. Absolutely nothing. And no one corrected him either. This is the perfect example of unsophisticated, deplorable customer service. I will never come back there...

Forget your $60 steak! On Tuesday , for $14.99 you can get a huge steak, loaded baked potato AND a pint of draft! All the games are on the screens. College Football season is packed house with all the rivals galore ( actually really fun to partake in) and NFL season is a blast and quite rowdy! Plenty of places to sit ( that includes outside). Oh and one of my favorite things are there are free jello shots when our home team scores! They also do crawfish events during the season but you have to check the FB page. Griff's is my "go to " for St. Paddy's with events leading up to the big day! Oh, and they are FUN ( if you can remember, the next day!) Mind you, Griffs is not the prettiest place, yes it is a sports bar but it certainly does the job. If you want to have good drinks, food and laughs, and memories, you have the right place. If you want to go to a overpriced swanky lounge type location with stuffy attitudes, have fun with that as well. Each to his own. I love...
