Grove Market & Provisions — Restaurant in Houston

TL;DR ~Best place to eat at Discovery Green and GRB ~Some (not all) of the staff give the impression they don't care to be there or serve you well.

Lake House is the best place for a quick cheap eat if you're visiting Discovery Green or the GRB Convention Center with a good selection and quality that matched the like of Chik Fil A. It's very pretty on the inside and very family friendly.

Only issue, which appeared in a lot of reviews for a while, is that some of the staff is "rude" but mostly unconcerned with their customers. In my experience it seemed less like "thank you for coming! " and more "welp, here you go. Don't care about the homeless guy hustling customers for money" (I came at...

For it's location, the food is actually much cheaper than I expected. Unfortunately on the day I went they were completely out of ground beef and I really had wanted a burger. I got a chicken sandwich instead, but there was no barbecue or honey mustard sauce to be found. The fries were great. The sandwich was okay. Service was quick. I may go back and try a hot dog or burger, because I love that it is situated in a park, rather than going to the burger joints in the mall and eating in a food court.

Update: The hot dogs at this place are pretty good. I'm not going to change the three star rating, but I was happy with the hot...

4/26/2019 - 4:45pm - It was my very 1st time I visited this establishment & I was very impress on how amazing this place is & how clean it was also & how polite the staff are.. I had ordered the Beef Fajita Tacos & a Chili Cheese Dog for my father (2 soft drinks) came to a total of $15

I was very impressed with the taste of the food & do highly recommend this place either before going to a Baseball or basketball game or any other activity you may have..

Great prices, wonderful atmosphere & worth trying something...
