Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Houston

I've ordered here a couple of times thru doordash and today made me officially give them a review. Made a order today and today the driver didn't want to go thru the apartments and drop off the order. He texted stating it was company policy for residents to meet at the gate. I never heard this policy, I didn't see it on their website and didn't see it through the doordash app site. I notify him that if it was any other day I'd walk to him, but today was a day off from my 2 jobs because my medical condition prevented me from even standing up without getting dizzy. After explaining that I'm bedridden he still didn't want to complete the delivery. I told him then to refund my money and I contacted the store to ensure the refund along with explaining the status. Management stated that there was no such policy and it was the drivers false decision on not taking the "mile" of their policy. I’ve been here several times because it’s close to my job. The customer service is horrendous. Today the cashier Destiny checked me out after she did and I also gave a tip! I stood there waiting for my cups so I asked her about my drink and asked do i grab my own cup and she just nodded yes. So I grabbed my own cups then when my food was ready the lady just placed my sandwiches on the counter and threw a bag by it so i could bag my own stuff. That’s very unprofessional i regret leaving a tip. These employees need to be more courteous and helpful they just opened too so it’s not like they have had a long day and are tired. I went in to pick up a Tuna melt after ordering on Doordash. My order was nowhere to be found. After showing my receipt on my recently purchased sandwich to Clarissa (Say's she's the GM), she stated she didn't know what to tell me bc Doordash for JJ went inactive before the big power outage. I respectfully showed her how active Jimmy Johns is on Doordash- Pick up only. If she was really the GM, she needs to be reevaluated ASAP. Considering the miscommunication between Doordash and Jimmy Johns, as a GM I would've made the sandwich and moved on.. I had a receipt and a time stamp! I left with no refund or sandwich.
