Drinks: La La Latte: 4.5 out of 5 -- Foam + honey combo is quite sweet, but makes for a delicious dessert-y type drink.
The Perfect Latte: 4 out of 5 -- Not quite as many bells and whistles on this one, which allows you to realize that the coffee itself is perfectly average. A bit less sweet than the trademark latte.
Food: Avocado Toast: 4.5 out of 5 ā Great amount of avocado and flavor on some great sourdough (?) bread. Overall, better than expected from a cafe which has an extensive drinks menu.
Bottom line: Worth a visit for the āGram and the vibes, and worth a return trip to support the missionā¦but probably not worth putting in your regular rotation if youāre an actual coffee person. Beautiful interior and (normally) cheerful service is offset somewhat by mediocre coffee and the lack of space to sit down and work -- you get a much better experience if the weather allows you to sit outside. Also noticed that despite being a new establishment, the place is looking a little messy around the tables and behind the counterā¦which Iām sure affects the drinks if theyāre not thoroughly rinsing out between each drink order.
Parking / Seating: Part of the MKT plaza (adjacent to Sweetgreen), so plenty of parking nearby. Seating inside is pretty limited: really only a couple large couches and 4-5 small tables. Outdoor seating is plentiful, with picnic-style tables on the gravel and some more small tables around back. Not the quietest and the indoor tables arenāt great for working, so I would really only come to snap some photos and hang out with a few friends vs. coming to actually work.
Definitely swing by to say youāve been and grab a drink (and support the foster youth that they support and employ -- very cool), but go elsewhere if youāre looking for truly good coffee and a quiet place to work away...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAmazing!! Iāve been to this MKT location a few times now, (have dined in as well as gotten take out) and Iāve got to say their pastries and drinks that Iāve tried so far are amazing! Everything Iāve tried is listed below and Iād recommend all of these:
Drinks (got all of these with oat-milk): Butterfly matcha latte Lavender bloom matcha latte Strawberry fields matcha latte
Pastries Iāve tried: Almond croissant (with some sort of sweet purĆ©e inside) Banana nut muffin Strawberry danish Blueberry muffin Cinnamon roll
Not only is the food/drinks top tier, the overall atmosphere/ambiance, customer service, and decor of this boutique-coffee shop is great as well. The modern and minimalist style interior decor is inviting, and the details of yellow integrated throughout the coffee shop invoke a sense of sunshine and happiness.
Moreover the staff take the slogan ābe kindā very literally and are so sweet and attentive. The whole atmosphere is very nice and is bound to make anyoneās day a bit sunnier and brighter. Depending on the time you go, there can be quite a bit of a wait due to rush hour.
Thereās also plentiful out door seating and there are plenty of opportunities indoors and outdoors to get the perfect pictures for your social feed as well.
Also a few other things worth mentioning: There is plenty of free parking at MKT location Also plenty of indoor/outdoor seating at the MKT location Favorite drink Iād recommend to first time visitors who like matcha: Butterfly matcha latte (not too sweet not too bitter, perfectly balanced flavor and subtlety reminiscent of fruity pebbles cereal) Favorite pasty recommendation: Almond croissant or...

I don't typically care about leaving reviews, but I feel as though it was necessary for me to leave this one. There are so many things wrong with this cafe. This is an oddly glamorized Starbucks in all the worse ways. Everything feels so staged. It is almost like a TJ Maxx threw up in there and made sure all the motivational quotes were present. Everything and everyone is so loud and obnoxious. If you were to do work remotely, this is also not the place for you. They are constantly yelling and the music seems to be on full blast. I guess it is also apart of their duty to say "I love you" when you receive your beverages, but it made me very uncomfortable. Why say it if you don't mean it? Weird.
I went in to grab some drinks for my family and I because I love trying out new cafes. The lattes were incredibly bitter/sour. I also hated the way they did a pour over. I wish I had taken a photo of their setup and what was in my drink. Let's just say finding grains of coffee in your drink isn't so pleasing. I did not try any of their matcha beverages, but I don't plan to.
They are also cashless? Which I will never understand why businesses find this necessary as people still like to pay in cash.
I know this is a pretty long review, but it makes me sad knowing that there are families who are busting their backs trying their best for their own businesses. Who not only have better products but are still authentically themselves. And businesses like this seem to knock it out the ballpark for some reason. Just...
