The app crashed when it was time to pick up my curbside order, so i couldnt choose a curbside spot OR see my 4 digit code. Tried to wait for a bit to see if someone would come out anyway since the order was placed at 9:52am but no one did and the drive thru line was long. Ended up waiting thru the line (couldnt go inside bc no shoes on since i was expecting to curbside). They ended up telling me there was no curbside order under my name several times and said i couldnt get a refund even w email receipt OR replacement meal bc it wasnt on their system even tho the app screenshot and email said i had my order at that location. Said i had to go thru the app for a refund & when i said i couldnt find an option for that Employee said "i dont know how to use the app, just figure it out" & closed the window on me. So i sat there in my car saying i wouldnt move until they give me a refund or make my food bc i have a receipt. They ended up finding my order sitting there and gave me cold food, a flat soda and cold "hot" coffee and then told me its my fault for calling it a mobile order instead of a curbside order which i never did. I clicked on my coupon in the app, pulled up to the window to give the lady the coupon code, and she says she can only charge me full price because their scanner to scan the codes isn't working. I asked if she could input the code manually like they do at all the other Mickey D's, and she told me she doesn't know how. I asked for a manager and another lady showed up, told me they are not taking coupons from the McDonald's app today, and asked if I'd like to pay full price or cancel the order. How rude, and then when i asked her how I am supposed to use my coupon (which is voided once you click on it to use and a different coupon cannot be used for like 30 or 60 minutes) at another McDonald's if the is gonna tell me I have to wait because I clicked on one to use at their restaurant but couldn't use it for whatever reason, and she told me that that wasn't her problem and if i asked her again or if i didn't leave, she was calling the cops. I have never been to a McDonald's that has ever treated me so poorly. It was very sad and upsetting and that McDonalds hires and promotes this kind of behavior (as McDonald's has apparently promoted her to some kind of supervisor) makes me reconsider eating at McDonald's at all. Read moreNot worth the hassle. Drive thru person misunderstood my order. Drove to window 1 to recap the order and verify the accuracy of the order taker. I was told they were unable to make the breakfast sandwich as ordered. (I wanted a Sausage McMuffin with an extra piece of sausage ON the sandwich) Perhaps there was a simple language barrier. No worries. Politely requested a manager.
Out flies the "manager" huffing and puffing like a character from BAPS. Crazy hair head wiggle and everything. Seriously!?! Was told I'd get the sandwich as sold on the register button. This unpleasant 2nd level worker was a step down from the first order taker. I left with a drink and a sandwich that I gave away. Here's the kicker... I called the "owner" per the number on the drive thru window later that day, explained the scenario and suggested the employees try to help the situation rather then further aggravate and insult their customers.
The lady owner agreed and offered to mail us a gift card to try the restaurant again... Gift card never came. Clearly she doesn't want my business. Lucky for her, I won't EVER return.
