I recently visited McDonald’s at 392 N Sam Houston Pkwy E, TX (Store #26850) and had a very disappointing experience with an employee named Kim (or Ms. Kim).
Upon entering, Kim was mopping the floor, and I did not see a caution sign indicating a wet floor. When my family and I began ordering, she displayed a rude attitude, failed to greet us, and was generally unprofessional. We even apologized for walking in as a gesture of humbleness, yet she continued to be dismissive and raised her voice at us.
During the ordering process, she asked what size my grandmother wanted for her meal. When we replied “small,” she raised her voice and snapped, saying, “There is only medium and large.” This was an unnecessary and unprofessional response.
After we received our food, I returned to ask for a tray, and her response was rude and condescending: “So you wanted it here? You need to tell us if it’s for here or to go. If you don’t say anything, we assume it is to go.” When I mentioned that most restaurants typically ask customers if their order is for dine-in or takeout, she dismissively replied, “No, it doesn’t work like that.”
Beyond this poor customer service, I have also learned that Kim has a history of cutting other employees’ hours due to personal disagreements. Additionally, she has reportedly told Hispanic employees that they “must speak English because they are in America.” This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and discriminatory. As a customer, I felt disrespected and discriminated against, which is incredibly disheartening in today’s world.
I am bringing this matter to your attention because I believe no customer or employee should be treated in this manner. I hope McDonald’s takes swift action to address this situation. Please let me know how this matter...
Read moreThe old lady with the thick glasses by the name of Kim, working the first window drive-thru at 8:40 PM on 06/30/2025, was VERY disrespectful, racist, and unprofessional. I placed a mobile order for my family to pick up, and she rushed and yelled at them, unwarranted.
She was behaving extremely unhinged, waving her arms, and kept repeating, “I have customers in line.” while my mom was just trying to clarify that the order was the correct one because it didn’t print correctly on the receipt. My mom was at the drive-thru and let me speak to this lady over the phone to clarify because again, I’m the one who placed the mobile order for my family. This lady was shouting “I don’t want to talk to anyone on the phone”, claimed I was “cutting her off” while SHE was speaking very erratically, and then said she “couldn’t understand what this Spanish lady is saying because of her accent” (we’re not even Hispanic). To reiterate, she was incredibly disrespectful from the start but became even more deranged as my mom was speaking to me on the phone in another language as I told her to put me on speaker so that I could break it down for her. Throughout the whole entire interaction, she was extremely combative, leaning out of the drive-thru window in a threatening manner. My family had to go inside to dispute it and the workers pulled up the correct order and apologized.
Kim (or whatever it goes by) needs to turn to the lord and seek help - read the other reviews where they detail the...
Read moreThis post is about the service I received as a Doordash driver. I accepted an order that was to be picked up by 2:11pm, I arrived prior the deadline. At 2:18pm, in a rather rude manner the employee told me to confirm the order, a process done when picking up orders. She clung on to the bag as if I were going to steal it. During such interaction I stated that they made me wait 7 minutes after the agreed pickup time to which she replied “we do not start Doordash orders until the driver arrives” as she was talking I confirmed the order on the app using the matching numbers of the order and label on the bag. As I went to take the bag she stated she had to see me enter the numbers. Since the app moved to the next step of the instructions for delivery I could not jump back to re-enter the code. I showed her my phone which indicated all was set for delivery. She would not accept such and stated “I have to see you type in the numbers and confirm it”. Then she said “ I’m just doing my job” She took the bag and put it on a shelf behind her and said good bye. upon my confirming the order the customer was notified of the pickup but I had nothing to deliver due to the employee “DOING HER JOB”. After leaving the location I contacted Doordash who canceled the order. TO THE OWNER AND MANAGER. Your employees action only reflected the could care less attitude to satisfy your customer with getting the food in a timely manner and the distrust she holds...
