I will preface this by saying: Please read my other reviews. I am not unnecessarily harsh and, if I can say so, I am fair to all of these businesses across Texas. With that said, this McDonald's is the worst. The absolute worst. I pulled up to the speaker and it took over 3 minutes (the song we were listening to on a low volume started and finished before we were even greeted) before I could even place my order. Then they were rude to me, which was odd because our order was not complex (a happy meal and a large drink) and I was absolutely respectful to them in the process. I pay for my order and pull up to the second window and am handed a drink with a lid that was already falling off.... Ok, whatever. I let that go. I am them handed the happy meal box without a word said to me, no thank you or have a good day: nothing. I ask if my daughter's apple juice is in the box and the lady said yes. I took her word for it and pulled off. As I hand my daughter her happy meal she tells me there is in fact no juice in the box. We are already pressed for time, which is why we even got fast food in the first place, so I am very annoyed by this as I asked the employee specifically if the juice was in the box. I hurriedly went back to get the juice, mostly because I am sick and tired of getting incorrect orders from McDonald's, which at that point has happened 3 times in a row from different locations. When we went back and asked for our missing juice, the staff was very rude and and gave me the runaround. After finally getting our juice the employee (the same one that told us our juice was in the box in the first place) didn't so much as offer an apology or say have a nice day. The manager was standing there and offered nothing either. At that point I was furious and made it clear I will never go to their restaurant or any McDonald's for that matter. I will leave negative reviews everywhere that I can and no, I will not take a free menu item becausewhay I wanted was half-decent service and THE STUFF THAT WE ORDERED THE FIRST TIME!!! Please read this: Do not go to this McDonald's or any McDonald's for that matter. There is a Burger King up the road, a Jack in the Box up the road and many more other options of you so choose. Avoid this place...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI stopped at McDonald's on June 22, 2017 @ 9:30a, to grab something to eat. Next thing I noticed, the cashier only charged me for the sandwich & the coffee. Not once she asked me if I wanted the meal. According to her, she did ask me. If she had, I wouldn't be complaining about it. Then she had the nerve on charging for a hash brown. I told her that i wasn't going to pay because she got my order wrong in the first place. This is what she did wrong:
Didn't ask if I wanted the meal. Only assumed My coffee was black, no cream or sugar was added She put on the order that I wanted in a bagel with cheese. What I ordered was an egg muffin with regular bacon, no cheese, coffee to drink. She had the nerve on trying to cover her own ass by stating that I was lying.
I spoke to the manager telling him the things she did wrong & that she had the nerve on arguing with me that I was wrong. For someone that likes to argue with customers, shouldn't be working in a restaurant at all. She thought she was right & I was wrong. My opinion, she should be fired for having an attitude & not taking care of the customers correctly. With that attitude she shouldn't be working there at all.
If anyone is working at a fast food restaurant, let me give you a little tip:
Customers are always right, no matter if they are wrong. Never assume that what they order is just that. Always ask if they want the meal or just the sandwich. Never argue with a customer. Don't think that you are going to win solving the problem by arguing. Any personal problems you have, leave them at home. Don't take them to work. Someone who works in these type of places, should show respect. Don't expect the world to revolve around you. This is not Burger King, you can't have it your way.
If I didn't had an appointment nearby, I would've saved $ & gas on eating at home, instead of seeing her stupid face & arguing with her because she thinks she can take the orders wrong. It seems like other customers had complained about the staff: rude, no people skills & blame the order wrong on the customers instead of themselves. Need to close this McDonald's & make it a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis location has gone from average to bad. The franchise has invested thousands for high tech gadgets, but means nothing if the people working there are incompetent and unable to communicate with guests. On 1/3/2018 i went for lunch in driver thru and pulled into lane 2. Person working driving thru forgot that there was a lane 2 and took orders from 4 people in lane 1 before I drove around and just went inside to order. Today, 1/5/2018, I went for breakfast. Ordered 2 #2's with 2 large coffee 3 cream & 3 sugar. Worker tells me $12.62 in broken english. It takes over 5 minutes to get to the payment window. I get there and I have my $13 ready. She opens the window, doesn't say hello, doesn't confirm my order, isn't wearing any mc donald's uniform, and just takes my money from my hand and gives me back a $10, a $5 and three $1. I know something wrong, but she has closed the window and is talking on her headset. So I pull forward, and they give me the wrong order. I have to tell three people before the bring the manager who seems to be the only person that understands English. He finds the correct order on the screen, and gets me my food. I'm Texan, so I know enough to say, "Dos cafe?" Then the lady goes to make my coffee. Anyway, they have changed the whole staff, perhaps to compensate themselves for what they spent to rebuild the restaurant and add all the high tech stuff. God knows what they are paying the entire spanish speaking staff. They even got rid of the old manager and replaced him with a nervous man surrounded by women screaming in spanish. I'll try back in a month to see if...
