Villa Roma Pizza — Restaurant in Houston

We have ordered from Villa Roma pizza for years with no problem. But the last two orders have been horrible. My husband has stage 3 cancer and while in treatment this seems to be the easiet for him to maintain. We always either order the philly subs with steak well done & extra cheese or a pizza. As always we ordered well done Xtra cheese. The order was late ( which as of late they are running 15-45 minutes later than the eta they give you) and when the order arrived it wasnt well done nor extra well done. I called him immediately . I just wanted the sandwiches to be remade. He was rude and extremely argumentative. He tol me he would change it to a pizza. If we wanted pizza we would have ordered one. Instead of taking responsibility and juts remaking the order He hung up on me. When I called back he said to cancel with slice. I contacted slice and sent them pictures of the sandwiches, they agreed and they contacted the restaurant and he said he wasnt willing to do anything. So my husband is left hungry (after chemotherapy)and we wasted money. And Due to this aggravation and over an hour of arguing we are both mad and looking for something else he can try to stomach. Dont eat at a place that wont take responsibility for their mistakes and not treating the customers fairly. He could care less about the customers and has the attitude if you dont like it oh well. I have disputed with Slice, BBB, and attorney general. Its poor business practice to not make the order right . You took our money but wont fix the problem....

We were in the area and decided to give this place a try because of the overall ratings. Well, I wish we never did. I really don't understand how it has such high ratings. When we ordered at the counter, the employee looked like she hated her job and did not want to speak to anyone. I know we all have bad days, but please don't take it out on others. We ordered mild wings, a pizza, and garlic bread with cheese. The garlic bread with cheese was okay. It lacked flavor and really could have used a side of marinara souce. The wings...oh my, what can I say? They tasted like frozen wings that we threw on the stove for a few minutes because you were starving and had nothing left to eat. If they were not frozen wings, they were old wings, which is worse. Of course, I also asked for ranch for the wings. Lo and behold, the ranch that came with it was the Ken's Buttermilk Ranch that you buy at H-E-B separately to go with your salad. I am sorry, that is not the kind of ranch we want for our wings. The margherita pizza was fine. Not the best, but I guess it could be worse. They don't have a soda fountain machine for your drinks, so you are forced to buy bottled drinks to go with their bland and frozen food. Oh, if you need to use the restroom or wash your hands, make sure you do so before you get there because their restrooms were not working. Would I recommend this place? Absolutely not. Don't be fooled by these...

We were in Houston for the stock show and rodeo. On 03/12/2022 we were staying at the Springhill suites by NRG Park. We decided to order from this establishment so we wouldn’t have to go out and find somewhere to eat at 7:30 in the evening. My wife called and they said they would have it delivered in about 45 minutes but an hour at most. We decided to order a pizza and wings. One hour and twenty minutes later we called back up there to verify that our order hadn’t been delivered to the wrong room or something of that nature. We were told that the driver was walking out the door with our order right then. At this point it was not beyond the acceptable time frame even though they had told us that most it would be an hour because I understand they would be very busy due to the stock show and rodeo being in town. 40 minutes later after we had been told driver was walking out the door with our delivery I went downstairs I just happened to come across the delivery driver in the hotel lobby as he was about to go of the elevator. I got our food and took it up to our room to find out that it was cold like it had been in the vehicle for an hour or more. We didn’t even get to eat more than two bites of it. All this place did was waste my money. I wouldn’t recommend ordering from here at any time since they lied to us repeatedly and failed to deliver a decent...
