I'm so glad I stopped here tonight, i pass it all the time without a second thought. The gorditas are soft and fresh, the outside perfectly toasted to a crisp. Their fillings are sublime. The pastor is a prime example of the menu staple at every taqueria. Delicately seasoned, tender and delicious, here trimmed of any fat or sinew. Elevated to something you must taste to believe. Not like the pastor on a trompo con Pina, but equally as good. Barbacoa rich and meaty, so tender it melts on the tongue. The tortas are great. But the stand out is really anything wrapped in their glorious masa or fresh made tortillas. They make both corn and flour tortillas to order and Lupe's got nothing on these beautiful ladies. The corn tortillas like the gorditas will have you dreaming of a street corner in Oaxaca. We tried the raspas, liquados and aguas as well. They're ok, the raspas could have a finer snow like ice, the liquados and aguas are too sweet for us. I mixed my agua melon half with water and it still needed a splash more water. Though the flavors are very good and fresh. Nit picking because the food knocked our socks off and clean into the dryer. I can't wait to go back and get something else wrapped in their carefully crafted carb casings. Don't let the outside fool you, and bring a can of Off if you plan to wait for your food or...

Very good spot!!! I bought a corn in a cup that was very good.... All the ingredients were very good... I also decided to get a agua de melon/fresh cantaloupe juice with small chunks of cantaloupe that are drinkable though a straw... It is one of the best agua de melon that I've had in a very long time... They were not shy on the little cantaloupe chunks they put in the drink.... This was my first time trying this place and im very impressed... Last but not least, the ladies/staff that work here are very friendly and professional.... They are very happy to help with anything you need with a great attitude.... In my opinion this is a hidden gem. All the stuff I tried here was fresh and came out with a great presentation.... We come by at least twice a month since we live on the other side of town. This place is so good and authentic. Their champurrado is delicious. Their quesadillas are really good and we’ve tried the flautas and aguas frescas, everything 10/10.
