Happy-Go-Lucky — Restaurant in Houston

Happy Go Lucky is a mystery. An bar that stands empty no matter what day or time yet it is open. If you are brave enough to venture past the dirt parking lot youll notice that the entire place is covered outside with cameras. Bravely you'll venture to turn open the door knob to find a dark dark bar inside. Theres 2 sofas and a TV. Its playing a Korean concert and looks like a living room. Theres a jukebox that hasn't run in 20 years and even more cameras. The bartender has no Ice. The water is hot. Your shot comes in a plastic shot glass that is too small to be a shot, the bartender an older Korean woman tell you "No Cards" and when you give the older lady who has trouble with English as well as seeing your 20$ bill she does not offer any change. She is not happy that you ventured into this establishment. In fact neither her nor the other 2 Korean women laying on the sofa seem to be happy to see you. The bar is hot. The air is stale. You leave. They do not say goodbye. You drive away feeling odd about the whole affair wondering if the bar is a front for something else.

If youre like me its a wonderful weird time. If youre anyone normal who doesnt like extremely sketchy places...

0 out of 10. Would not recommend but honestly didn't get anything. Walked in & turned back around. Place looks sketchy but I wanted to give a try as a neighborhood spot. The dirty house door knob should have been the first red flag. The entrance had a rank odor upon going in 2nd red flag. I decided to go a little further in, and immediately turned around.
