Mrs. Donuts — Restaurant in Houston

I agree with one of the reviews regarding the lady being rude. It's happened to me twice recently. The first time I let it go, considering they were busy and she might be under pressure. But today it happened again. I bought half a dozen donuts and half a dozen small pork kolaches for gifts, so I asked for them to be put in small boxes. The lady wasn't happy, because I asked the kolaches to be put in a small box. Then I asked if they had beef kolaches and she said "I explained to you before, they are all pork." I told her I had bought the beef ones many times here. At which time the husband explained that "The all America beef, but they are sold out." The husband and young man at the register are super nice. I thanked them, but told the lady that she was rude and there was no need for her to give me the attitude when I'm giving them business. Very nice and convenient location. Donut prices are shockingly reasonable and affordable. Why not support your local small family-owned business for the same price as donuts at Shipleys or Dunkin?? I love their blueberry cake donut. I picked up a dozen donuts for co-workers. Everyone loved the donuts. Donuts are soft and delicious. They had adorable holiday decorations on the donuts too. Most importantly, the owners are amazing. There was a stranger hanging outside the store and harassing customers. The owners took immediate action and walked me to my car to ensure the stranger did not harass me. During this crazy time in life, to have the store owners worry about their customers and ensure their safety reflects on the way they must run their business. Haven't patronizing this donut shop since I started teaching in this area about 2 months ago there's a young man in there he's really helpful but I hate to see how he's treated sometimes when he's trying to serve someone. This morning in particular I was trying to order something and the lady that's behind the counter she seems to be the one or the owners she's speaking really loudly to a patron behind of me to the point where I can't even get my order over to the young man. I've noticed this behavior between that lady and another gentleman that's in there though pass you over for the other patrons I don't know if it's because of skin color or ethnicity but I have noticed this This is a third time and I walked out this morning because I felt uncomfortable patronizing a spot like this.
