I went with the 1/4 chicken leg in Medium spice, and it was perfectly marinated – you can really taste that 24-hour marinade working its magic. The flame-grilling gives it this incredible smoky char while keeping the meat incredibly juicy. The spice level system is genius too – whether you’re a “Lemon & Herb” beginner or an “Extra Hot” daredevil, there’s something for everyone.

Don’t Sleep on the Sides: The PERi chips are dangerously addictive (I may have ordered a second helping). They’re seasoned beautifully and pair perfectly with the chicken. The flame-grilled corn and garlic bread are also standout choices. The Portuguese rice adds a nice touch of authenticity to the meal.

Great for Groups: The sharing platters are perfect if you’re coming with friends or family. The Full Platter with whole chicken and large sides is incredible value and lets everyone try different spice levels.

I tried Nando’s for the first time. I have heard about Nando’s since my childhood and never had the chance to experience it until last week. Nando’s chicken BREAST was so juicy and flavorful, I am still thinking about it almost a week later. I have NEVER had a chicken breast that was so PERFECT in my entire life. As I was breaking the chicken up into pieces, chicken juices kept seeping out and I genuinely did not understand how that was happening. There was not a SINGLE dry bite in the huge portion of chicken. I am talking about GENEROUS portion sized chicken. I don’t think this review puts it into perspective how amazing the chicken was. Also, when I arrived to pickup the order, a nice man told me there was an UNLIMITED SAUCE BAR? I happily walked over and grabbed two and ate that with my chicken as well, but honestly the chicken did not need it. But beautiful to have there nonetheless. Lastly, if Nando’s has a “Teach Broke College Students How to Cook Chicken BEAUTIFULLY” program, please let me know. I have never prepared a chicken a TENTH as well as the Nando’s staff did that day and everyday. I just want to learn how to make chicken so flavorful. We had such a great experience at the new Nando’s Peri-Peri in Montrose! From the moment we walked in, the staff was so friendly and welcoming. A special shoutout to Christina—she was incredibly attentive and took the time to explain the menu to us, which made the whole experience even better. Her energy and kindness really stood out!

I love that you can choose your spice level for the chicken (a big win for spice wimps like me!), and everything we ordered was packed with flavor. The flame-grilled chicken was perfectly cooked, and the sides were all amazing—especially the roasted cauliflower and Brussels sprouts, which were next-level good.

Do not skip the drinks! The honey lavender lemonade was honestly unforgettable, and the passion fruit frosé was the perfect refreshing treat.

Another huge plus: there’s plenty of parking (rare for Montrose!) and it’s located in a popular area where you can shop or walk around after your meal. It makes for the perfect lunch or dinner outing with friends or family.
