Ā Ā Ā Read moreVoodoo doughnuts offer the traditional options regular doughnut shops offer, but what sets them apart are their specialty doughnuts. When I went the āHomerā doughnut caught my eye!!! Now I wouldnāt say the icing on the doughnut is the same as the one you have at other shops. The frosting on this doughnut was very similar to a buttercream frosting thatās usually found on cakes. I was a bit surprised at the frosting as it made the doughnut feel more so like a cake rather than a traditional doughnut!! It was still good nonetheless. The next thing I got was the iconic glazed doughnut!!! This one was a traditional choice and voodoo did NOT disappoint!! Now as for the big contenders of the night; the Maple Bacon Bar and their Mocha coffee. I was a bit apprehensive at the thought of bacon with a doughnut, but WOW!! The saltiness of the bacon and sweetness of the maple frosting are a match made in heaven. This bar is the epitome of an American breakfast all in a doughnut. This location now offers coffee options which do not disappoint. The mocha iced or hot are super delicious. If you like your coffee on the sweeter side get the iced version. As shown in the picture they drizzle a lot of chocolate sauce all over the cup!!! If you are ever in the area make sure to go on down to voodoo and try out their various delicious items. The only downside at this location is that the dining area is very limited. I only saw three tables when I went so keep this in mind if you...

As much chocolate covering that they put on the donut should be as just about the same ration as filling. Iād rather have more filling than all that chocolate covering. I enjoy voodoo but Iām not sure Iām enjoying paying $3 a donut to not really get itās worth.
Edit: the customer service has changed I was serviced by Juliana and as always I get a voodoo doughnut and ask for some of the filling on the side since itās only filled half of the body (as shown in the pic, thatās the exact same doll I bought and cut in half today). She laughed and with a smirk she said ānoā I told herā thatās weird your the first person to tell me I canāt have any fillingā she rolled her eyes and said ā here at voodoo?ā I told her ā yes your the first person to say I canāt have any, everyone that has helped before has given me some filling in a cup on the side.ā (I have no reason to lie, it be a different thing if I had been told no before and I was trying again but that was not the case.) She proceeded to get my doughnuts I ordered and started talking about me and laughing, to the other person working the other register, as I was standing just a few feet away waiting for my order and to pay. Overall disappointing and unacceptable behavior toward paying customers. With employees like this it makes me not want to continue supporting...
