I came on a Tuesday evening and found only one party seated here. I tried their Demon Ramen, their Chasu Rice and a Diet Coke. I walked in and the server seemed confused like they had never seen a customer before. I said for 1 and had to repeat myself before he said sit anywhere in the middle. So I sat down.
I look and I am a fan of spicy food so the Demon Ramen seemed interesting. I wanted an egg on it so I asked the awkward server if it came with it. In the picture, the two ramens to the left have an egg and this one has a blob - but you can’t tell if that’s an egg or not. So I asked if it comes with egg and the server said “It comes with everything in the description”. So I read the descriptions for all the ramens and none came with egg in the description, despite the picture showing it. I decided to order an egg to add in my ramen.
The server comes and hands me my ramen very quickly, but it already had an egg - and on top of that I had a second egg. That was annoying. He also told me “I’ve never tried it” when I asked how spicy it was. I mean if you work here, you should at least try it or at least know what’s in the ramen. Not sure if this young kid is new but he really seemed like he didn’t know much - it would’ve been better if they simply had a kiosk at the front to order from.
Anyway, so the ramen itself was delicious. It was very spicy and to my liking. Highly recommend anybody get it.
What I don’t recommend is getting the chasu ramen. My goodness it was disgusting. Not only was the rice undercooked and mushy, but they put some type of sweet mayo on it that made it pretty bad. This type of bowl is meant to be savory, not sweet. I have never seen a restaurant make a sweet chasu bowl.
Overall, combined with the delicious ramen, the awkward and uninformed server, and the disgusting chasu bowl - I’d give this a 3. Maybe I’d come back for the ramen and to try other sides. I think if you want ramen this is a very good and quiet spot...

Vibe: Casual wooden izakaya vibe inside, very clean. We came in at around 2pm and there were not many people. Decent size, tables are long and can probably seat medium-sized parties together (6?).
Service: very friendly server. She gave great recommendations for our appetizers.
Food: Ordered a great deal of ramen + mini appetizer for $13.75. We tried the regular tonkotsu ramen, burnt garlic tonkotsu ramen, chicken gyoza, and Korean yangyum nuggets. Chicken gyoza was just OK. The Korean nuggets were incredibly flavorful and juicy with a tangy sweet/spicy sauce and crunchy coating. Very spicy! The quality of all the ramen ingredients really impressed us. The tonkotsu broth had great savory depth and creamy texture without feeling too heavy or porky/grimy. Flavor was straightforward and clean but subtly complex - reminded me of Ichiran ramen in NYC. The straight noodles were perfectly cooked, al dente and chewy. Burnt garlic oil added some extra savory and aromatic depth. Chashu was great, cut pretty thick, with a hint of smokiness. Still had some chew to it. Woodear mushroom really stood out to me as incredibly fresh with a refreshing, thick, and soft texture that surpasses any other place I've had them. Egg was solid, no marinade or anything, but cooked perfectly and they give you an entire egg (not just a half). 100% recommend these ramen, though we would like to add the spicy paste next time to see if we can get even more layers of complexity and flavor.

Read moreI visited here often for both dine in and take out. They have one of the best ramen in town. However, the last visit on 9/14/24 was disappointing. We arrived around 11:30am with our 1-year old baby. The restaurant was completely empty so when the waitress pointed us to the left section of small tables, I kindly asked her if we could take the large table on the right section because we had a small baby and wanted to give her a bit more space if possible. She continued pointing us to take one of the small tables on the left section. I gave her benefits of doubt that she might not hear us at first, so I asked her again about taking the large table. But she still ignored my request and showed us the small table… Finally my husband had to speak up and asked her if this large table was reserved for any party. There were like 4 of them. She finally waved her hands and shake her head that we could take the large table we wanted. Her attitude and lack of understanding really killed the mood. After seeing how she treated us, we decided to leave and went to the udon place in the same plaza. The waiter there was very accommodating, giving us the large table even though the restaurant was 50-60% full. I’m not saying having a baby requires special privileges, but a little understanding and helpful assistance will go a long way, especially when your restaurant is completely empty… I love the ramen here, but will not come back because of...
