Would give 0 stars if i could. 2 reasons, 2 separate occasions but the same driver both times. 1st occasion. Ordered a pizza 2 hours before they closed. I immediately get a call from what i believed to be the store phone number. I answer and some hoodlum says “aye you know we closed right?” And i said “oh no i didnt know, the website says you close at 12” and he hungup. I then go to sleep, thinking that they will cancel my order and give me a refund. I wake up to missed calls and text messages from the driver trying to deliver. I call and explain what happened, and they fix the situation. They then inform me that the driver is the one who called and said that the store was closed and they give me store credit. 2nd occasion, (same driver texting from the same number) (i kept the text thread from last time). He Asked for the gate code and said he was on his way. 1.5 hours later he marks it delivered. Guess what? No pizza. My apartment is small and i was in the living room the whole night, so i would have heard a knock. My dog would have heard a knock as well, as he goes ballistic at outside noises. So I call the store as soon as its marked delivered to tell them i never received the pizza. I am then yelled at and berrated by ANOTHER hoodlum and told “i get customers like you all the time” and that “im gonna remember your name”. He then yells saying “make sure you put the right address!” (The address is correct, i even check again to be sure). I tell him it’s correct, and he keeps yelling to put the right address as if what i was saying was going in one ear and out the other. Never coming here again. Read moreI placed an online order and was charged twice, when I called the store I spoke to a lady named Marion or Maryann , I couldn't understand her name because she was talking so fast like she didn't want to tell me her name. When I told her I had 2 charges and only had 1 order she proceeds to tell me yeah I'm only seeing one order (clearly she doesn't listen) I said yeah I know I said that already, she then proceeds to say hold on let me make sure it's not 2 order, she was probably at this time realizing that I was doubled charged, then said yeah sometimes that happens but the charge will fall off, I then asked why would your system charge me twice for 1 order, she then seems to get an attitude and say she doesn't know I would need to call my CC company or bank, then say again yeah that happens it should fall off in 1-2 days . I called my bank and the agent literally tells me oh they must have realized the mistake because it was reversed 2 minutes ago. Whoever she is she kept talking over me, and instead of just owning up and saying oh yeah I apologize I'll go ahead and reverse the charge she continued to lie about it, so unprofessional and rude . Read moreI ordered pizzas for a movie night with my kids, and it turned into an absolute disaster. When the order arrived, one of the boxes didn’t have the safety seal — either it was never placed at the store or it was removed by the DoorDash driver. Not even three minutes after the delivery, I found a stray cat eating the pizza right at my doorstep. I even attached photos as proof.
I immediately contacted Papa John’s and DoorDash customer service, and I can honestly say both were equally disappointing. Papa John’s kept repeating that they couldn’t do anything because the order was placed through DoorDash and insisted they “always put the seal” — which clearly wasn’t true in this case. DoorDash, on the other hand, transferred me between five different agents, only to tell me in the end that there was “nothing they could do.”
So, not only did I lose my money and dinner, but my kids were left upset and disappointed — and both companies showed zero accountability, zero empathy, and zero willingness to fix the issue.
