Disappointing Experience at Sky Sports Trampoline Park – Not Worth the Money
We recently visited Sky Sports Trampoline Park for my granddaughter’s birthday, expecting a clean, well-maintained, and enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, our visit was far from what we had hoped for.
Overpriced & Misleading Birthday Package We live about an hour and a half away and paid approximately $500 for a birthday party package, under the impression that it would include quality service and amenities. However, we were not allowed to bring outside food, except for the birthday cake. Upon arrival, we were surprised to learn that the venue provides outside food themselves—Papa John’s pizza and Capri Suns, neither of which they actually make on-site. If outside food is prohibited, why is it okay for them to bring it in?
The package included two small pizzas that were cold and unappetizing. To make matters worse, they even tried to charge us for water, which, in my opinion, should be included in a package of this price. Who pays hundreds of dollars for a birthday party and then has to buy water separately?
Unsanitary & Poorly Maintained Facility The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting, with a stench that resembled an unmaintained retirement home. The entire facility smelled horrible, which made the experience even more unpleasant. Many of the attractions and play areas were damaged or unsafe:
Basketball hoop padding was completely ripped out. The slide was not functional, making it difficult for children to use. Trampolines felt stiff and worn out. The foam pit squares were torn and looked unsanitary. It was clear that maintenance is not a priority for this facility, and that’s completely unacceptable for a place designed for children’s entertainment.
Lack of Customer Service & Accountability We addressed our concerns with Marco, the assistant manager, and asked for a partial refund or discount due to the many issues and lack of quality service. Marco called someone, who simply stated that they would not be issuing any discounts despite the multiple grievances. It was disappointing to see such a lack of accountability and concern for customer satisfaction after we had spent a significant amount of money.
Final Thoughts I rarely leave negative reviews, and I never want to see a business fail because people rely on these jobs. However, customer service should always be a priority, especially when families are spending hundreds of dollars for an experience that was worth no more than $2 worth of service.
This facility desperately needs a revamp, not only for cleanliness but also for customer service and transparency in their pricing. I will be doing my best to reach out to the owner to ensure that these issues are addressed. Until major improvements are made, I do NOT recommend booking a birthday party or visiting...
Read moreThe place is fun for kids, kids love having fun and don't really see the things we see as adults but wow. My husband and I brought our 8 year old son and 1 year old daughter yesterday to this place for the first time ever and we took them to the toddler area i guess you can say and my son who is 8 was trying to watch over his little sister in there (remember shes only 1) my son as a great big brother was trying to show my daughter how to slide down from the slide and then an employee comes up to us saying that he's too big to be in there and i dont have a problem with that but then what if my child falls from that slide? Or from trying to get up on that thing where they play? Like i have to be close to my child right to avoid this from happening. But i guess rules are rules?? Maybe they shouldn't even charge for 1 year olds to be honest. So we moved to another area for the bigger kids & I sat down at the edge of the thing (sorry idk what its called) because I seen other parents doing it too and then then another employee comes up to me and says that parents can't be in there? I wasn't IN there I was just sitting on the edge as the other parents were but ok I moved. 1 minute late he comes at me again & says that my time is up? I said yeah thats why i'm not in there playing but my child is there & he still has 1 hour left and i'm trying to take pictures of him. What do you want me to do? To leave him here by himself and get out? He said oh sorry i didnt know he was in there and I'm new here. So i responded with yeah i'm new here too its our first time here. I felt VERY embarrassed yesterday because everybody kept on looking at my husband and I like if we were doing something wrong. A LOT OF EYES ON US YESTERDAY AND I FELT DISCRIMINATED. Other parents were sitting on that edge watching over there children & they kept on bothering us. Husband and I paid for 30 mins and we got our kids 1 hour plus the purchase of all 4 socks which is stupid especially when you already have SOCKS! Waste of money coming to this place, I'd rather go elsewhere to spend our money with BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE. It was very embarrassing for...
Read moreMy nephew was here for a visit so i decided to take him to this place after my sister took him once ,he like it so i decided to take hom again .
I paid 23 $ for 2 hours and we were supposed to leave at 1:20 pm .
This was my 1st time there and i thought the parent or the guardian can step inside the trampoline to watch the kid or play with him so i did .
After a while ,one of the staff approached me and told me i can Not be inside the tramploine unless i have a sticker (meaning pay another 23 )
I told him i was Not aware of that and i was just watching my nephew .i stepped out and sat on the bench and kept an eye on my nephew ( did not argue with him)
Then my nephew and I moved to 2 other play areas and for some reason this guy was following us around like i am about to do something wrong . At first i thought it was just my imagination so i just ignored him but it kept happening . once we enter a play area he would show up after seconds pretending that he was just supervising that area . my nephew was moving around and once we go the jumping area for example he would stalk us and stay there till we leave this area .. Not sure if he did this was bcuz i was wearing my religious scarf and he was just scared of a muslim girl trying to enjoy her time with nephew ,he was trying to make me leave bcuz he did not like the way i looked or he was just being annoying.
This made me really uncomfortable and wanted to leave rightaway but i already paid 23$ and wanted my nephew to have fun . eventually ,bcuz of this guy stalking me , i left 20 min early. The blonde girl at the cashier was nice and kept smiling at my nephew and I everytime she saw us (she was a supernice so i thought i should mention her ) but this guy ruined my time there .
This happened on friday 1/4/2019 A sad and bad expereince . My 1st and last time there and would never recommend this place to anyone bcuz of that creepy guy...
