The worst service I have ever received in my 32 years of life. Aug 23, 2024 my family and I stopped in at 2pm for drinks and some food. We were visiting Houston on vacation and went off of reviews online. Food was not available nor was the frozen drinks advertised on their printed menu. The bartender was the most rude woman I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. She was so hostile and abrasive that I actually asked her if she was ok. She replied no and explained that it’s really hard for her to only get 10hrs off between shifts. My mom tried my drink and decided to order the same, the bartender rolled her eyes before making the drink. She went on to say that she didn’t like people watching her make drinks. I wasn’t sure what to even make of that statement. We were told that we needed to order at the bar and there was no table service. Perhaps the most ironic part of the whole experience was that it was their first responders appreciation day. They offered a generous discount that is always a privilege and never expected. However, maybe I can give some advise to the bartender who’s job is just too much for her. As a first responder who often misses sleep it’s really important to have good habits when you get home so that your sleep can be as routine as possible, and as far as the horrific pressure of making a cocktail in front of people… well I too feel pressure when family members watch me perform cpr on their deceased loved ones. The best advise I can give is to try and block out your surroundings so that you can really focus on the task at hand. Hope things get better for her so she isn’t such a...

I don't ever leave reviews, but it is so important to me that people know about my experience with Patterson Park.

We recently had a big community clothing swap party hosted by my sustainable fashion startup, and we had planned it a little last minute. Still, Jeff and his team were able to get us a reservation for ~50 people - they offered us the whole rooftop floor!

Jeff was my go-to contact throughout the whole event planning process, and while we had no idea how this first event was going to go, he was really accommodating and gave us the confidence we needed that everything was going to go well!

Ultimately, we had over 100 people throughout the entire afternoon for our clothing swap. The bouncers, Justin and Mike, and the bartenders/servers we had, Sky and Beven, were the BEST at making sure everyone was taken care of, and Jeff always checked in upstairs to make sure we were doing fantastic.

Overall, I totally want to host more events for Houston at Patterson Park. The bar and the staff truly represent what it means to have a fun, down-to-earth time with awesome people, and so many of our attendees were amazed even though it was their first time for a lot of them.

I really can't thank y'all enough, and I'm gonna keep saying it until you...

My group of about 30 people visited as an after work function after party. we arrived at 2pm on the dot and they were open and ready for us. A few notes: FIRST: THIS IS A BAR! It is not a place to bring your children. If you want that, go somewhere else. SECOND: THIS IS NOT A RESTAURANT. They have food trucks available. The food truck that was there the evening my group was there was a Lobster Sandwich truck. It was AMAZING!! Lobster and shrimp tater tots!! THIRD: The alcohol selection is limited for being a bar. They had no brandy and the choices of other "name brands" is limited. They have an interesting menu of specialty drinks and because it is the holiday season, they had a menu of Christmas titled drinks. I recommend Mrs Santa Clause Hinding in the Closet $12.00 (something like that). My co-worders went crazy over the very trendy espresso martinis.

The atmosphere is great. They have inside and outside seating. They have several levels to enjoy. The 3rd "floor" is exceptional for views. The inside is broken up into a variety of spaces, this allowed people to split up and have a variety of places to talk etc.

They also give a discount to healthcare workers, first responders and I...

Being a local here in Houston, we are always looking into new places to go to. Once we heard of the concept of a treehouse bar that is also DOG FRIENDLY opening up( I mean c’mon who could resist as an adult saying no to a treehouse, dog friendly, and plus alcohol) we knew we had to check it out right away. We went on a Saturday around 6:30, although it was pretty packed by then we were fortunate to find parking right away. The walk was under 30 seconds. Before entrance, they do check ID as this establishment is strictly 21+ and up. The view was spectacular and the atmosphere was very lively. Plenty of seatings everywhere. Their drinks are so delicious, and they have some of the sweetest and fastest bartenders. Jay and Adrian are so amazing. Anything you want they’ll make it. They’re super fast and efficient. Stuck on what to drink? Ask for their recommendations, you won’t regret it. Patterson park also has food trucks in case you don’t want to drink on an empty stomach. Can’t wait to come back here again soon with our dog! 💚

I live on Patterson St. next to this bar. Patterson St. is a dead end so there's only one way in and out and the lots fill up fast. I implore you to not drive here if you are able. Uber nearby and walk a bit or bike, avoid Cornish and Patterson. Before this bar, the street was just houses, Houston Traffic Operations, and a path to White Oak Bayou, so don't expect a bunch of nearby parking options. Ever since this bar opened this week, there are droves of cars in, out, reversing because they can't turn around, parking in front of fire lanes, taking up spaces that residents use, blocking city vehicles from entering and exiting traffic operations, and parking on both sides of Cornish so that only one car can pass through at a time. It's become a hassle for the residents here and most of these cars are coming through to find no parking and then turning around. I experience this on my way home from work and see it every night out my window. If you drive, be very careful for bikers and dogs heading to white oak bayou.

Our first experience here was not the best. We arrived early, a bartender and a manager were present, and none of them said hi or anything at all. We ordered some drinks and shots(Mexican candies and green teas) they were bad. They don't even use Jameson for green teas. For a slow day, Scarlett, the bartender seemed really bored or annoyed. Her talk to the few customers was how they are the busiest bar in town and how they do things differently in "The Heights." her attitude itself was rude and obnoxious. It's a shame because the place is nice. They just need to be more friendly and better their customer service. People say parking is limited but since we arrived early we didn't have any problem with it. They don't have a kitchen, but I saw a food truck outside. Honestly, I don't recommend this place. If you are looking for better, friendlier service, bigger bar, just drive down on I-10, and you will find Kirby Ice House. Bigger, busier and nicer place with nice servers.
