I actually called the number that was given on my online order confirmation thinking it wa r the number to the store so I could leave a complaint with the manager but it was a hotline number in California. The woman asked if I wanted to be transferred to the store and I said yes. I was on hold for 6 minutes before I decided to hang up. With that being said, I don't know if the workers were upset that at 10:15pm I ordered for delivery and they were closing at 11pm or what but I ordered extra sauce and extra cheese because 1. I like extra cheese and 2. The last time there wasn't enough sauce on my pizza. So some wise guy decided to dump and crap ton of sauce into the pizza to the point where it was unedible. Plus there was NO extra cheese. And the crust did not have the garlic butter on it. I also ordered the buffalo medium traditional bone in wings and they barely had any sauce on them and the sauce that was on the wings was completely watered down. And on top of that the delivery was almost 15 minutes late. I have been a fan of Pizza Hut since I was a child. It is my favorite take out pizza. I am constantly boasting about the food and the quality. I'm from up north and since I've been living in Houston I've had nothing but bad experiences after the other when ordering from the Pizza Hut down here. The level of service and the quality of the food in my opinion is disrespectful to the Pizza Hut franchise and brand. Read moreDo not give your business to this location. I was disrespected and demeaned by the manager Paul for no reason. Not only did he disrespect me, he told me that he doesn’t have to listen to my concern or provide me with his managers contact information.
After patiently waiting over an hour plus for one order of cheese bread, they arrived 40 minutes after the estimated delivery time. That’s no biggie, I was understanding of the lateness of my delivery. Before I received the order I called the store for an update. I asked Paul if he could contact the driver and give me an ETA because I was concerned that my food may be cold when it arrived because it was late. He refused to do that.
Still, I was calm, understanding, and patient. The food arrived cold (not even warm). I remained patient and calm when I contacted Paul. I told him that my food was cold. His response was “No it’s not” please tell me how in the world could he argue with me about my food being cold when it’s sitting right in front of me cold? The warmer bag that they put the food in apparently doesn’t do a good job of keeping it warm.
Instead of being professional and helping me, Mr. Paul decided to get irate, get me off, & tell me that he doesn’t have to do anything to fix this problem. How in the world do businesses allow people like this to deal with the public? His tone was very scary. When I went to pick up my order, I was standing in the line and happen to be looking out the window and notice a young gentleman get out the car (next to my car) and as soon as he got out of his car he had empty bottles of alcohol that he just drunk and then threw it in the back of his trunk, then he walks into the side of the building entering into the kitchen to pick up order to deliver them to customer, he looked disoriented, but no one said anything, as soon as I got called up to get my order I told the lady at the front desk what I had witness and told them to make sure the boy is ok, she asked me what’s his description, so I told her and then she goes to the kitchen and repeats it to everyone in there and then some lady/man that works in the kitchen, they both come back to me and the lady/manly person started going off on me saying he’s allowed to drink and told me how it’s not my business and asked me what’s the problem, she/he was very dismissive about what I said and I just wasn’t feeling it, I thought her/his approach was very unprofessional and could’ve been handled well, and honestly the young guy (the driver) should look for a job else where because if they really cared about him they’d make sure he’s in good condition and isn’t drinking/driving, they’re more concerned with pizza getting sent out instead of someone else’s safety.
