I wasn’t sure how to rate this,.. just make sure you check your food before giving it to your child. Service was terrible EXCEPT from Ms. Angela. She was the sweetest and so respectful, caring and understanding. Which was why I didnt know how to rate this. The pregnant Hispanic lady was very rude right off the bat. She shouldn’t be working in customer service. We ordered online, and the app doesn’t let you choose half spicy and original. My husband had to let them know we placed the order and if they could change it to half and half. The Hispanic lady was rude about it. But ok, let’s just let it go, she’s pregnant right? We got our food and had to figure out which one was spicy. In which the whole order was spicy. So we took her one of the boxes back to exchange for non spicy. She literally questioned everybody trying to make it seem like we’re lying. I’m not sure for what, it really didn’t make sense to me at all. She proceeded to grab a tender to check it herself, no gloves just dirty hands she uses to receive cash and coins from other unclean hands. We did not see her dispose of the chicken that we ourselves already touched. She gave it to the people in the back in which I’m more than sure they put it back to give to others. Extremely unsanitary. She gave us 5 pieces of the original tenders instead of 7. We let that go too, because she’s pregnant right? Let’s just not argue. Well WE failed to check the chicken again. We let out 5YO autistic child eat the tenders. He got full and gave us his last piece. Then that’s when we realized WE messed up, when we went to bite into the tender. IT WAS OLD AND STALE! I feel terrible as a parent for not checking his food and allowing him to eat OLD STALE TENDERS! I feel like that was purposely done, and I know I should not be at fault because the cooks should know what is not edible and how long food has been there. It’s their responsibility to ensure to serve fresh or nearly fresh food. This was so wrong. Popeyes needs to do better, just make Ms Angela manager please. I feel like she’ll be able to get this store in order. As for the pregnant lady, she needs to just stay home. I’ve had 3 kids and an attitude like hers there’s really no justification for. You either want to be at work or you don’t and if you do then please act like it. The food here is not cheap neither, and as a loyal Popeyes customer who’s spent thousands because of my autistic child’s preference of food. It’s not right to be treated that way and get served old food. Thankfully I don’t live near and come to this location. Don’t plan to neither. Unless I see Ms Angela as manager, because then I’ll know that it’s safe to eat the food here and that great customer service will be provided. Oh forgot to mention the servings too. They only fill up the large cups of rice and beans half way, and as for the mashed potatoes, it’s just all gravy. Just check...
Read moreA very unpleasant location. I've been here a few times, before it was always just tolerable, but this last visit has been unbelievable. This visit we ordered and dined inside the restaurant. Placing our order was a struggle in itself. After unnecessary hassle, we then had to wait as the cashier appeared to have difficulty functioning the device for placing orders. The next problem faced us when we were giving our drinks. There was an extra drink, which we were charged for. When asked about it, she flippantly just said something along the lines of "sure, this is yours". We grabbed our drinks and sat at a table as we waited for our order. Time moved on and we waited and waited.... And waited. Customer after customer received their orders before we did, customers that were coming in much later than us. As we waited we observed disturbing activity in the kitchen. A worker had finished his break and returned to the kitchen. He began sneezing repeatedly. Then he cleaned his nose with a paper towel. Without washing his hands or at least wiping them down, he then began using the utensils to cook the chicken. Later we went to the counter because we thought our food was ready. The cashier explained it was another customer's. Then she told us something about waiting ten (10) minutes. Ten minutes for what? We didn't order anything special that would cause that. Especially since it had already been a good deal of time. Eventually after waiting for around thirty (30) minutes, our food was ready. We took our food to our table and found that the hot sauce packets were all stuck to each other, an odd clump. No doubt this was from some sticky substance that they didn't even care to clean. Then as we ate our chicken, I pulled a piece apart and found bloody pink and redness. I fully separated the portion with it, it was wet. After I removed it from my tray, and wiped at the liquid that remained with a napkin, I noted the blood that stayed in the creases and absorbed into the paper tray. Fortunately it appears it was only the one (1) piece that contained blood like that. The chicken was... Alright. As good as you can expect from this particular location. Tolerable. Decent. The only pleasant part of the experience was the music that Popeyes plays. Not only unsatisfied, but wholly disgusted. I urge you, if you must have Popeyes, go to a...
Read moreI AM APPALLED!
1st: I USE TO visit this location all the time, approx 2 times a week. (NEVER AGAIN)
2nd: I ALWAYS order the #9. I have always been happy with the size of the portions. However, I always ask for them to double fry my fries because if I don't then they are soggy. Who am I kidding...even when I ask for them to double fry them, they are STILL SOGGY.
3rd: The black chick in the window, no matter how nice you are to her, she is super dry, never smiles, and is a hair shy of being rude every time I come through the drive-thru.
4th: Today took the cake. I ordered the same thing I always do and the amount of shrimp I got in my order was repulsive. I called the store, asked to speak to the manager, and got nothing short of an unhappy, rude, and miserable person. The manager is a Hispanic lady with blond hair, tattoos up her arm, has no people skills. After explaining to her the issue, she assured me she watched her employee measure the shrimp and that I got what I was supposed to have. I assured her I didn't. I brought the order back, got a refund, no one ever apologized or tried to rectify the situation. I even asked for my receipt that she took from me, and after she handed it to me, she slammed the sliding door in my face.
Lord if I wasn't saved and tried my best to remain mature about the situation, Id have ripped this lady's ass.
To the manager: I don't know who in the world you think you are. But you are no stronger of a team leader than your weakest link, and I guarantee your employees are not the weakest link. You have no business being in a leadership role if you can't learn to interact with customers, try to deescalate situations, and I WILL NEVER visit your store again. With an attitude like yours, I'd be embarrassed an ashamed of myself. How dare you behave the way you did. Poor excuse for an individual. Not to mention, I went to the Popeyes on N. Shepard, across from the Krogers and gave them the cash back that you gave me, and got way more shrimp than your lying ass claimed I was supposed to get. You must be so miserable of a human...
