Raspado Xperts — Restaurant in Houston

🔴I went into this location to get a corn in a cup, and ended up getting a chocolate-nut covered apple as well, along with a watermelon raspado. I ate the corn, it was good, I had the drink and after a few sips it was gone, but the cup was filled with crushed ice almost to the top. What looked like an 80% ice and 20% drink. I accepted that 'I' should have probably asked for less ice. On the way home, the plastic wrapped apple got a dent in the chocolate, it was WAY too easily dented and I knew it was likely going to be a disaster under that chocolate, and my sister made a joke like "watch it have a bruise you cant see". We get home with that chocolate, nut covered apple and decide to cut into it, because I was going to share with my niece and a few other people. So I proceed to slice into this apple, and the knife almost slices into it like cake. I was horrified to find that the apple was basically apple shaped applesauce wrapped in a husk of chocolate. I wish I was joking and I knew how to post pictures in this review so I could show the state of this apple. I think if I had squeezed it in my hand, it'd turned to moosh. It was refrigerated too, so it must have been there for weeks, just dying away, waiting for an unsuspecting customer to fall for it. That's not all. I called to ask what they can do about the apple and she asks me "did you request a receipt?" "Uhm. No, she didnt give me a receipt" So it ended up she wanted me to take the apple out of the trash and bring it in for proof that it was rotten. Even though I offered to show a couple of pictures I snapped of the apple, she said that wasnt enough to refund my money. That apple had to have been weeks old, and NO ONE thought maybe it was time to throw out the apples?

Corn tasted sour I asked if I could switch it for a frito pie was told no .. was also told that they have had previous complaints about the Chili they use that makes it taste weird .. got out Chilli cheese fries they didn't have no flavor at all ! Manager then told the cashier asked her if she still wants the frito pie .. why ask after the fact and giving attitude.. I respectfully declined it .. couldn't enjoy nothing again fries no flavor & was just getting stared at and yu can hear manager and staff just laughing behind counter ... won't ever...

The worst place👎 sad that this people run a place like this first and last time I visit that establishment I had order a frito pie and cheese was as cold as the snowcone it was return the young girl took the frito pie back as she was gonna fix it but the other granny lady that was working seem she got in her feelings and dumb young girl couldn't fix the mistake that came from there end " cooooold cheese" stir the pot, check the temperature of your foods, but I guess they think many Mexican eat whatever or either just say...
