⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve driven past this little corner shop at least 50 times, always saying I’d check it out someday. Today I finally stopped, and let me tell you this place is THE REAL DEAL! That’s the nickname I’m giving this Mexican restaurant. The food is absolutely packed with flavor the kind that sticks with you until your next visit. The service is superb, warm, and welcoming truly a family spot that makes you feel at home. Honestly, I’d come back here even if the service wasn’t great simply because the flavor alone is unforgettable. But since both the food and the service are top notch, they’ve definitely won me over.

Tripa tacos were salty! Waitress said they came with onion and cilantro.(didn't have none on tacos) Chicharon tacos were bland! Enmoladas didn't have any mole flavor, tasted more like mint! Waitress rang up my bill 3 times, each time a different total. When she finally gave me the highest total she got confused when I handed her the 3 cents so she wouldn't break a dollar, couldn't figure out my change was $14. Also she never refilled the teas at the table, when I asked for a refill she brought hot tea with no ice!

I was impressed with Rio Verdence. The food here was authentic and great tasting. It is a good choice for breakfast or lunch. I was particularly fond of the huevos divorciados and the tortillas. Both the flour and corn tortillas are handmade, but I'd give the flour here the slight edge. The staff was really attentive; even the ownership came to check on our table. They made us feel very comfortable and welcome. I'll be coming back. It's really worth it for affordably priced authentic Mexican food.

Y’all really fooled me with these reviews. I expected to get some good affordable food, but that wasn’t the case.

I ordered 2 gorditas, 1 de pastor & 1 de “fajita” w/added avocado. Cost me $11.91! To top it off, idk about you all, but I have always had gorditas served to me with beans & cheese inside w/lettuce & tomato (if requested with everything, which I did). Well for my pastor gordita all I got was a little meat, chunk of avocado & hair! The fajita one at least had lettuce and tomato, but it is NOT REAL FAJITA! Still no beans or cheese. Also she only gave me my change from a $20 as $8, no change. Wasn’t going to make a deal about it, but for these reviews and those prices that’s what I got & that does not sound right to me. I didn’t go back to complain about the hair because I already left, so I just threw it away. Best thing out of my meal was the salsa verde. Very disappointed, thought I was going to be happy about finding another good little...

Driving around looking for a place that is open during "Antarctica Houston 2021" and while waiting for fiesta to open up we decided to drive around and saw this little spot. A lady came out the front and waved and gave us a thumbs up letting us know, "We are Open". The wife and I chuckled and said...Lets Go. This place is Delicious and has Real Mexican food..not that Tex Mex stuff... Abuela en la cocina kind of food. Good Champorado...good, warm salsa. Great handmade tortillas..

Also, I think Yolanda is the owner, she's the one who waved us in, and she is SUPER Hott. Lol. Sorry, I had to put that in there. Just gonna say she is...
