Horrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs! If you’re looking for bad food and worse attitude, Rudras is the place for you. We went for a buffet (4 plates and an idly-vada combo), and the lady at the front (probably the owner) made sure to ruin the entire experience. She was constantly staring at us like we were doing something wrong—so uncomfortable and downright rude. I guess she didn’t knew that we were able to see her staring. when few of my friends were near buffet to put on food few friends were sitting, and the lady was handling some other customer and constantly staring at my friends which we can clearly see how stupid that is !!! To top it off, when one of us offered a tiny piece for tasting, she had the audacity to say, “Buffet cannot be shared.” Really? We had individual plates and know how to behave. Mind your business instead of micromanaging paying customers! The food? Pathetic. Bland, low-quality, and barely any variety. And as if that wasn’t enough, she had the nerve to comment to a server about someone “wasting rice.” Excuse me? We’re paying for this food, and if it’s trash, we’re not obligated to finish it.Overpriced, tasteless food paired with the worst attitude imaginable. Don’t waste your time or money here...

Worst dining experience ever at Rudras. We took four buffet plates and an idly-vada combo, only to be met with terrible service and subpar food. The lady at the front (probably the owner) acted like she owned us, constantly staring and making us feel uncomfortable. If looks could kill, we wouldn’t have made it out.
Things got even worse when one of us took a tiny bite for tasting, and she rudely snapped, “Buffet cannot be shared.” Excuse me? We each had our own plates and know basic dining etiquette. Maybe instead of policing customers, she should focus on fixing the awful food and hygiene issues.
Speaking of food—absolute disaster. Barely any variety, stale taste, and not even worth half the price. One of the curries was spoiled, and to top it off, the plates weren’t even properly washed! And yet, she had the audacity to complain about someone “wasting rice.” If the food is bad, we’re not obligated to force it down.
Rude, unprofessional, and utterly disappointing. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place...
Read moreWe were here on a Friday afternoon for lunch around 12.30 - 1. They had the lunch buffet with tiffin and lunch items. Mini soft idlis with sambar tasted very nice. Chutney was fresh. Pongal was empty so couldn’t get to taste it. Kuzhi paniyaram was the star of the show. Crispy on the outside and soft and porous inside. Curd vada tasted average and could’ve been better. Chapathis and the curries tasted very good. Especially the aloo subzi and the black channa gravy. They didn’t have any paneer items on the menu but had about 4-5 descent tasting curries. Rasam , puli kuzhambu(tamarind gravy) and curry was good. The only item which was disappointing was the bisibelebath/sambar rice. Not sure if it got stale or tasted so. The desserts were average and could taste better. One suggestion would be to arrange the menu in a better way so that it doesn’t look half empty. The atmosphere was very calm and divine with nice Shlokas running in the background. The owner lady was very courteous and friendly. The restaurant is clean and...
