One of the WORST experiences I received from a Whataburger franchise was here today. So my boyfriend ordered a meal and it was wrong so I proceeded to take it back to the location. Before I arrived I called the location and told the manager of the wrong order and they said come back. When I came back I was horribly greeted by the cashier āCALVINā. I knew this because his name tag was noticeably thrown on side ways. Anyway I proceeded to tell him what happened and he proceeded to argue about the order and how I was wrong and I got what I asked for. So I told him well on the receipt it said he wanted a SWEET tea and he got UNSWEET tea was my boyfriend wrong about that too? Calvin the cashier then yells WELL I DONT MAKE THE DRINKS! SO I WOULDNT KNOW! omg is whataburger picking anybody of the streets and just assuming they know customer service because this dude āCALVINā CLEARLY DOESNT!! Thank goodness a manager came and interrupted him talking because he knew this guy was digging a huge hole for himself. The manager politely asked what was wrong ,took my order and changed it. Snap of a finger DONE! While waiting for my order CALVIN PROCEEDS TO LAUGH HISTARICALLY AT THE WINDOW AT THE OTHER WORKERS AFTER THE SITUATION (so unprofessional )āJust bending over slapping knee and everythingā. Even though my order was changed after an argument with a sideways tag wearing cashier about adding sausage to my meal and a sweet tea, I will NEVER COME HERE AGAIN! Ā Ā Ā Read moreUsed to be my "go to" location. Now the whole staff is terrible. New hires seem to have attitude problems like a 5 yr old acting like they did nothing wrong. Orders now take too long (over 15 min) and the lack of communication skills among the early morning staff (2-5am) is below a 1st grade level.
If I asked for a biscuit and gravy, dont ask if id like the damn biscuit with that... AND THEN ask if I want gravy too. (Twice)
If something is going to take long to cook, let a customer know, we'll gladly order something else. I got to the window and the guy realizes he needed to put that order in...to cook.

I do believe we should have been suspicious that it only took about 3 minutes to get our food. In all my life I have never got a hamburger from any Whataburger that quick. It tasted as if they had cooked it partially soaked it in water and then just put it back on the grill to reheat. As well it was off temperature. But we were traveling home from a celebration of life and have not eaten much of anything all day. I'm very disappointed in this particular Whataburger that is around the I-45 S & El Dorado exit. As we were eating ourselves another order was plased and the young man didn't even have time to sit down before his order was ready. Alright Whataburger employees at this particular location it is not worth saving a few minutes time in order for you to get your orders out fast.
