Slowpokes does it again!!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This spot gets it.

Slowpokes on Canal street is exactly what the East End needed. Easy parking (which is a miracle in itself), tons of natural light, indoor and outdoor seating that begs you want to stay a while, and coffee that’s consistently top-tier.

The atmosphere feels effortless. It’s laid back but intentional. Whether you’re posted up with your laptop or just catching up with friends, it feels like everyone belongs here.

The Slowpokes team culture is always consistent and solid at every location, but the crew here brings a kind of energy that just fits the neighborhood.

It’s more than just a coffee shop. It’s becoming a hub of this transitioning community. Canal Street is better with Slowpokes on it, and Houston is better because of places like this.

This place has such a cozy industrial vibe. The coffee is great and the food was excellent. I was after a great cup of specialty coffee and this spot satisfied that requirement for me. The Lazy Latte was delicious and the perfectly blend of lavender sweetness. The Prosciutto+Fig Panino was oh so good with melty brie, pretzel bun, and sweet fig jam. Highly recommend stopping by this place.

They have 2 small parking lots on either side of the building, but can fill up quick and the spaces are pretty tight. You can find parking on the street as well.

I was so excited to visit this coffee shop today as my coworkers informed me about this spot since it's near our office and they know my love for coffee. Immediately I noticed the staff are not friendly but the atmosphere was great. They definitely live up to their name because after waiting almost 10 min, I realized everyone recieved their order but me. When I informed them my order was to go, that's what ignited the thought that they forgot my order. I was not offered a bigger cup for the wait nor acknowlegement of what took place which is the reason behind the review. Otherwise, I would have appreciated the willingness to rectify things as a...
