My husband and I had an early morning flights and were excited when we saw somewhere with chicken and waffles. We put in to go orders so we could eat by our terminal. We waited almost 40 minutes for an order of chicken and waffles, a breakfast sandwich, and a coffee. When we finally got our food, mine was cold and his sandwich had gotten mixed up with another woman waiting for her meal. When they finally got someone out of the kitchen to listen to them, they did offer to remake it, but it took another 20 minutes to get his food.
The food itself was not bad, but we waited almost an hour and service was terrible. Not to mention they weren’t really even busy. No one was actually eating in the restaurant, so the “server” was in the back most of the time. Read moreWell, we just finished our meal with you. The woman tending THE ENTIRE FLOOR, bartending, taking orders, clearing off tables, serving food, refilling beverages, etc. was overwhelmed. Our buffalo and Nashville sandwiches came out with flaccid and just like-warm fries. We brought them to our severs attention, and she said she would replace them with hot fries. The first replacement took 20 minutes, the second replacement came at the 30 minute mark. The thing that most ticked me off was a ‘manager’ was there, and watched her with all of the people and work to be done but he just leaned against the wall, not helping her nor the diners. Bad management. I read several of your reviews. Sadly, your poorest ratings (and mine) would stem not from our employee running the floor but your kitchen. And I notice you apologizing a lot. Stop it. Fix the efficiency of the kitchen. We travel to Houston airport a lot. Worst food...
Read moreWould not recommend it. The QR code was not working so was given an iPad to place an order. I was not keen on having to enter my card details into a device that's not my own. Am sure it's fine but made me nervous. A member of staff quoted all the right words to assure me he was there to help but as he repeated his script to everyone it sounded disingenuous. His saying he was going to get me sauce only to immediately have an extended conversation with a fellow diner about wines he had available and those that were no longer available did not improve my opinion. He did not notice me walking across the dining area to grab sauce myself. I had a buffalo burger and fries. Terrible burger and ok fries. Very expensive for what it is. I get the airport price thing but still. Google says this is 10-20$ but that's nonsense as fries are 12$...
