We came to get a Cinnamon Dolce Latte and two Chocolatey Chip Frappuccinos, but I understand there was some miscommunication. The employee who helped us gave me the Venti drink I ordered and two “Tall” Frappuccinos. However, I had never heard of the “Tall” size before, so I assumed she meant Venti. After we paid, we received small cups labeled as “Tall.”
I was with my mom and aunt, and they were confused because they had wanted the larger (Venti) size. We brought this to the employee’s attention, but the way she handled the situation was unprofessional. She told us we should have asked for Venti and not "Tall," but her delivery was rude and condescending. She rolled her eyes, slammed the drive-thru window shut, and remade the drinks. However, this time, she didn’t add any chocolate drizzle or crumbs.
We decided to leave with the drinks as they were because we didn’t want to escalate the situation, especially since it seemed like she was the only one working. I understand that working alone can be stressful, and everyone has bad days, but that doesn’t excuse treating customers disrespectfully.
I’ve been to other Starbucks locations and have never experienced this type of treatment. My parents were also dissatisfied with their drinks because they weren’t made correctly. We were even willing to pay the price difference for the larger sizes, but instead, she gave us the drinks and slammed the window in our faces.
Your employees need better training in patience and respect. Not everyone is familiar with the names of Starbucks cup sizes, and customers shouldn’t be made to feel bad about it. I don’t know what was going on with the employee who took our order at the drive-thru around 7:30 p.m., but she needs to calm down and handle situations more professionally. I was respectful when placing my order and even said thank you, but her attitude made our visit uncomfortable.
The way we were treated today was unacceptable, and I hope this issue...
Read moreThe most bizarre experience happened. I ordered my usual tall iced chai latte and egg bites. I always stop by this Starbucks on my way to work every day. It's my normal routine and I've never had any issues. The nice lady at the drive thru asked me if I wanted sweet cream whip on top, which I politely said no. I've never been asked if I wanted that but I didn't think much about it. However at the window, the drink had the whip cream on top. This is the part that it gets weird and I swear I wasn't rude. These guys have a tough job and I always appreciate them. They remade the drink but then tried to charge me for the old one. They also made me feel like I was a bad person for not wanting the whip cream on top or taking the drink. I wasn't rude but they wanted me to explain why I didn't want it. I didn't order it, which should have been a good enough explanation. Then they offered it to me while they remade my drink, asking me if I knew someone. I figured a coworker would like it. But that's when they wanted to charge me for it. I was too surprised to react and all I could do was silently hand the unwanted drink back. I couldn't even say any words, I was too surprised. They wanted an explanation and I couldn't say anything but shake my head. They gave me the remade drink and I heard them say they would give the drink away to someone in the store. I am not the kind of person to cause trouble in order to get free drinks. I don't like aggressive confrontation or having to explain why I do or do not want something. Did Starbucks recently change a policy or something that I...
Read moreSpent 20 mins in the drive thru to get an ice coffee with some syrup and heavy cream. They forgot the syrup and heavy cream. I told them about the cream and they fixed it but still no syrup. After 20 mins....
App constantly says they are out of nitro, but if you order via drive thru or counter, they have it.
Went through the drive thru and they forgot to give me back my card. I even got attitude from a lady when I went back to get it.
Placed an order for a cold brew via the app. Show up 10 mins later and it's not there. After some waiting, they tell me they don't have cold brew and ask if I can wait. I say no and I have to go back to my card anyway to get my phone to scan the card for a refund. Why wouldn't you just make more cold brew immediately after running out???
A larger, older woman who works there somehow manages to always make me wait for my order. If I place it online and she's working, I have to wait once I arrive. If I make an order with multiple drinks, she always makes one first and then makes random other drinks at the same time as the second drink so they aren't ready at the same time. If I order in person with a friend, she will still do this. I even tried ordered two of the same drink and I still had to wait for one.
Consistency issues. I order the same few drinks every time I come, and it is very noticeable how differently they are made each time. This goes beyond personal barista touch. They end up looking and tasting...
