Atomic Wings — Restaurant in Houston

Well, had issues initially when I got home and our order had nothing labeled. Called and talked with Supervisor, the order was remade. Traveled back to pick up the remake order. The labels provided are very small and hard to read, and they wrote with marker on the boxes as well to help identify each order. They left off the loaded fries and mozzarella sticks, had to wait for them to be made.

When we got home, everyone tried their wings.

-My mother's order was Hot Lemon Pepper Wet, and they were dry and had very little flavor.

-My wife's order was Thai Chili and Sweet & Tangy, she said they were nothing special.

-My father's order was Teriyaki and Garlic Parmesan, he said they needed more sauce.

-My female roommate's order was Garlic Parmesan and she said they were blah/ ehh.

-My male roommate's order was Atomic and Nuclear. He said the atomic had a good flavor but was not really hot, but he enjoyed the Nuclear ones but said they had more heat and not enough flavor.

-My order was Local Hot Garlic Parm and it was sub-par, the flavor was off and left an odd aftertaste.

All of the fries were soggy when we got home. The Blue Cheese sauce was bland and did not taste like Blue Cheese. The fountain drinks tasted off as well for the Pepsi Zero and Dr. Pepper.

Overall, very dissatisfied with the experience, the flavors, the texture, and the price paid for a sub-par meal and complicated hassle to identify each...

I have been wanting to try this place since I noticed it was finally open. It's very close to my office. So I went in around noon. The place wasn't super busy, service was fast, and everyone is right, the staff was super friendly and helpful. On to the food. I got a 10 piece combo with waffle fries. It came out in a flash and I drove back to my office, which takes about 3 minutes. I got the buffalo mild and garlic parm. Both tasted good. Chicken was hot, and tasted fresh, though I tend to like them a little crispier, but no complaints. I personally prefer a dry garlic parm and this was a saucy one, but it tasted great, so I wont go down for that. I got the aioli and that was good, I prefer it to ranch, actually. So it was a nice option. The only thing I didn't like was the waffle fries. They were warm and well seasoned, but they didn't taste fresh and were slightly tough/rubbery. Probably from sitting under a warmer. In all, I will be back to try other flavors and other things, but it didn't blow my socks off yet. But it's nice to have a new wing option right...

Terrifying Experience – Never Going Back

I’ve been to this Atomic Wings location several times, but after my recent experience, I’m genuinely afraid to ever return. I placed an order for wet hot lemon pepper wings and was given dry rub instead. When I called to get the issue corrected, I expected a simple acknowledgment of the mistake and a solution. Instead, I was met with a man speaking aggressively, repeatedly insisting, “they are wet,” in a tone that was intimidating and dismissive.

When I went back to the location to request a refund, the situation escalated. The same man removed his apron as if preparing to physically confront me, all while continuing to insist the wings were made correctly. I was genuinely fearful for my safety. This was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable.

Although I was refunded, the experience has left me extremely anxious. This place used to be a go-to for me, but now I’m too scared to walk back in. I hope the business addresses this behavior and creates a safer environment for...
