I don’t recommend staying here whatsoever, if u need a room you’ll be better under a bridge or the motel 6 next to it but not the super 8 EVER. Mostly Wyndham members stay at these kinds of places because they have such a good point system that u can stack up points quick and then redeem for free nights BUT NOT AT THIS PARTICULAR ONE AND BETTER NOT EVEN ASK IF ITS ON A WEEKEND. They are truly terrible people and I’m not giving a bad review I’m telling the Gods honest truth from firsthand. If u stay there and when ur stay is over u possibly want to extend ur stay and u might have points to do so and like Wyndham members kno that’s never a problem anywhere to redeem only unless it’s booked up but these ppl saw our reservation made the day before checkout and still beat on our door and said we have to leave they are all booked up n I said well yea I’m one of the reasons u are booked up cuz I have a reservation as well. He said are u paying with points I said yes I am but I was awarded these points by staying here over 8 consecutive days and paying upwards of around 6 hundred dollars so I was well deserving of them needless to say. Anyways he continues to yell this to me as I’m trying to tell him we have rights to stay this is wrong bla bla bla and they said they were going to call the cops but little did they know I already had called them because I could tell it was going to be some kinda drama when trying to get our “go free nights” so I told him don’t bother I’m on the line with them now so shut the door. Fast forwarding til later the cops arrive and because he’s privately owned even tho he operates his business underneath the Wyndham corporate umbrella he was able to say we had to leave with out any reason why no severance no refund no help with arrangements to the next place nothing but the worst attitudes I’ve ever seen anyone have with guest of a motel. The cop said while I pack up everything to leave he would be in his patrol car looking for shelters for me n my wife and service dog to go to. Because I’m a veteran n my wife’s disable we were basically planning to stay there until our new home was ready to move into I received my HUD-VASH voucher thru the VA so it’s a process but we had quite a bit of things in the room cuz we were taking it all to our new place when it was ready and it woulda been bout 2-3 weeks from then. So I wait for the cops to come out before I start packing and my wife had to go take care of something so she caught the bus off to go n I was alone there and finally the cop came n I told him my side n they told em theirs and all that the bottom line was I had to leave PERIOD. The cop even was saying yea this sux that they can do this but they can. As if there’s not enuff loopholes concerning middle eastern ppl and motels and the tax exemption loopholes it’s quite insane not even ridiculous it’s mind blowing. So I finally get all our stuff outside the room because he keeps screaming to get out because it’s already booked n they need to get in which was a lie there was no one there at that time so me alone I finally achieve what the officer said cuz he came up with manager n told me ok that’s enuff time now ima lock up and u gotta get ur dog. So whatever I couldn’t get still at that time was still in room which they locked it shut n both walked off. At this point all my wife n I’s belongings are outside the top tier of the second story motel all along the railing prob about 4 rooms wide so folks could still utilize the walkway to get by. So I walk down and about a mile away is a days inn on the other side of 290 I check in there and get my dog inside and my wife inside and everything n when I get bk there’s another HPD cop sitting there I’m sure waiting on me. He said what u still doing here I said sir it’s only me now it’s about midnight (our room was never occupied btw) and that’s all our stuff the next day I went to get all our things per the night cop and it was all stolen n they said it was in the dumpster and to call Joe Biden!

Would give big fat ZERO if it were an option. This has been a horrible experience. The front desk is not helpful. They would not give us condiments for our coffee. No new coffee cups for the next day. Towels do not smell fresh or clean. Stains that are either mildew or mascara on the pillow cases. Sink is heavy with mold and mildew and the tub has some too. No blow dryer, no iron. Free breakfast was a breakfast protein bar, coffee, orange juice, apple juice. The breakfast room was full of boxes and looks to be used as a storage room. Front desk would not give us enough "clean" towels. Even when we asked. Also very noisy. There was an actual adjoining room. And we could here every noise they made. And they were being very loud about everything. Informed Front desk we would check out early, we were told to talk to them in the morning. Now we are afraid of being charged for canceling the rest of our stay since she wouldn't take our notice herself.

Booked through Priceline Express deals where they choose for you. It was $60 for one night for 2.5 stars so I figured that would be fine as we’re just passing through for the night and they offered free continental hot breakfast. As soon as we walked in the room, we found a cockroach. And the place just was dingy. They had 3 pillows on a king size bed and when I went to ask for a fourth, the attendees was super rude about not giving more pillows. I woke up to another cockroach crawling across my face in the middle of the night. And when we came down for our “hot continental breakfast”, there was coffee and granola bars. This place sucks, please go literally anywhere else.

Upon check in, I asked for a blanket, extra sheet and two pillows cases. Which I do at every hotel. From experience the sheet and pillow cases and blankets aren't always freshly changed. The girl that checked me in, she was very nice she assured me it was not necessary, and didn't give me any. When I got to the room the floor looked dirty but I didn't have my glasses on at first. Then I proceeded to check out the bed and the linen to make sure it was clean. The blanket had cigarettes burn holes on it and there were long black hairs on the blanket. I then realized there was a bilgie foul scent in there so I proceeded to the bathroom, the scent knocked me back, I flush the toilet and turned the fan light on to get rid.I then left the room to get another blanket because all I wanted to do was get something to eat and lay down because I was so tired. When I got to the glass check in window on the outside with the blanket. I told him why I was changing it..his exact word to me was, "I'm going to do this one change for you and if you have anymore complaint, you have to leave and I will give you your money back" He was very upset. I then said to him, it's a free room I book with my Whyd pts, he said he will return my pts. I then said him, why are you so upset? I said to him, I'm not upset, I just came to change the blanket, what's the issue? He didn't answer me. I then said to him, there is a foul scent in the bathroom but I will try to keep flushing the toilet to see if it will go away. After that, he directed me to another door where he gave me another folded blanket, he asked me to look at it before I left. I said, I will do it in the room because I didn't want it to touch the ground out there. I told him, well, if I have anymore issue I would just check out then. He the said to me, that he has no more rooms available tonight, I said oh OK, and I left. I went back to the room set the blanket on the bed and inspected it...there was more hair this one. It has stains and everything...I then went back to the bathroom and flushed the bowl about 7 or 8 times and the scent kinda left. I opened the hotel door for fresh air to come in to help with the foul scent to leave for about 10 minutes. I then left the room for about half hour to 45 mins to get something to eat. When I open the door after I got back the scent seem like it was more than before, and this time I had my glasses on. The bathroom room floor was filthy, the toilet seat had piss all over it. There was no way I could sleep in that room...let alone eat there. That room was not cleaned. I got my stuff together and I left the room and went back to the window. I was there about 10 minutes waiting after I push the bell a few times before someone came. I assumed they could see it was me so they were not in a rush until someone else came to the window to inquire about booking a room. He dealt with me first and then came back to me and told me I could leave, with his mouth and his hand gesture, as if he wanted to kick me of the property...all this time I never got upset not once...but he was very nasty, a tall looking indian guy. The couple that came to book a room while I was waiting for assistance never left.I had to wait for my ride, which was about 15 to 20 minutes...but he told me he had no more rooms left. I'm a black woman and I kept thinking, is it because of my skin color or is it because I booked a free room with my points. Nevertheless, I will NEVER go back to this hotel again, really horrible service, this is the Brookhollow location @5655 west 34th Street, 77092 in Houston..nasty dirty room they feel comfortable booking you in and if you complain you have to just leave. They have no regards for your time and it was late..a total inconvenience to me but he didn't care one bit. I then booked Days Inn hotel and suites with Wyndham in Katy TX, which was a 40 to 45 minutes drive. It was worth it. I booked a regular room but the Seniors manager AJ, upgraded me to a Suite. This location is really, nice and quiet the rooms are clean...they serve...

The hotel itself is absolutely amazing. The rooms are clean & orderly & very slick. Everything looked very new & fresh. I personally had a corner room that over hangs the office with two windows & let me tell you, even though it wasn't a Marriott, it felt very nice & cozy.

The location is acceptable. It's right next to the freeway. Not so close where you can hear cars, but close enough to see it at the distance & the rooms were pretty sound proof anyway. The A/C was new looking & functioned 100% & the mini fridge was on point. Bed was very clean & lighting have the room a bright crytal clear white look. Not one of those yellow atmospheres. Smoke alarms were in tact & functional & bathroom was very nice marbel looking wall. Nice ice machine downstairs & they offer beverage services from the office that they give you a QR code to order them online while you're in your room so you can pick it up. And the pool is clean with blueish crystal clear tint. Very nice. No bugs, no stains, no weird or bad smells, no damage, dirt or grime.

There is a Habachi Seafood Buffet restaurant next door & also a couple of gas stations, an Academy, a Denny's, Chicken Fil-A, Shipley's, a Dutch Bros Coffee & more in a lot next to the hotel as well.

Only downside I'd say is that there are some shady people that walk around the area sometimes or get a hotel room, but the owners are very quick to removing them from the property if they cause any ruckus or unacceptable behavior or not allowing random visitors to people's rooms & disturbing or inappropriate activity. So these sort of people don't get comfortable turning the place into a hookup or hangout spot. And the doors are very sturdy & the locks are very good with a second locking mechanism/a thick metal flip latch (Not chain latch) to keep the door from opening all the way to prevent an unexpected housekeeper or office manager from walking in on you at a bad time or something. The workers there are pretty respectable so long as you respect the property & have some manners of course.

Amazing hotel for a good price. Definitely...
