Swig — Restaurant in Houston

First let me say that our family are frequent customers of this establishment of at least a few times per week. I had decided to share our love of the drinks with my staff and the physicians I work with by treating them yesterday morning. I ordered through DoorDash so work would not be disrupted. We ordered 13 drinks and 8 of them had strawberry in them. When they arrived none of them had strawberry in them. I called and told them they forgot the strawberry and was told it was not forgotten. They were all out. I was appalled! I asked do they not let their customers know when they are all out of something? The response was it was because I ordered through DoorDash so they couldn’t do anything. I said then cancel the order. I have had other businesses do that when they are out of something. She said oh well we can’t do that with our system. I told her I don’t believe that. I said then contact DoorDash who will text us and then we would have the option to cancel! She responded we can’t do that. I said I want to speak with either the manager or the owner. She said she doesn’t come in until 11am and she will be on the phone until 2pm. I left my phone number and asked to have her call me. They did not call me. I called them three times at 2:30pm and they picked up and hung up! I cannot remember being this disappointed in a business before. They not only humiliated their business but also humiliated me and just didn’t care. I’ve now been to Swig at least 6 times, so I feel like I’ve given them enough time since opening to improve things and get them right. The employees are all friendly, but their service was awful on most visits. Most of the time, the line was so long and took forever. I should have driven away while I could, but once you’re closer you get trapped in and cannot leave. On one occasion, they put some gross clumped up whipped cream in my drink instead of half and half. I was halfway home so didn’t bother to go back. Another time I ordered a drink with 2 syrups and it barely tasted like it had one. Again, I was half way home. And the last straw was when I waited at the drive thru ordering window for over 5 minutes, only to have an employee come out and tell me the ordering screen wasn’t working and could I drive up to the window. Drive thru drinks and snacks! Tried a few drinks out, and so far, they're good. A lot of their drinks have sugar-free options, which I would probably have to try a few of the ones I have tried again that way. Aside from the sodas, some of their other drinks are way too sweet. They also have a few snacks available. The cookies were bigger than i thought they would be, and they were good, but again, super sweet. I did try their coconut sugar cookie with a lime on top, and that was delicious but again too big and with how sweet it was, had to save the rest for later. The biggest downside is how awkward the entrance to the drive thru was done. Staff has been super friendly and very patient as you look through their endless drink options. I'll definitely keep trying this place out and recommend it for anyone looking for...
