Taqueria Tepatitlan #9 — Restaurant in Houston

If I can I will put zero stars. I ordered two tacos of birria. The meat was dry and hard to eat. I showed and told the manager. She said they cannot do anything since is already in the computer. She recommended me to order different meat but I have to pay it. I asked to replaced the one I eat the tortilla but the meat I put it on the napkins. I asked her to cut small pieces and she said will not make a difference. She said they can’t, just keep talking excusing herself, they don’t care at all their customers. When we go to a restaurant we pay for the food that should be eatable and taste good. I don’t come often and will not come again. Update: when we went to the cashier to pay. My husband told the lady what happened and we don’t agree to pay. The lady brought the same lady that said is the manager. My husband explained we don’t agree to pay for something we didn’t eat and didn’t want it to fix. She went away and came with a new ticket, she deducted the tacos from the bill. I’m wondering if because my husband is white she decided at the end to do the right thing but told me several times she cannot change what is in the computer. Anyway we’re not coming again...

El servicio fue pesimo!!!! La comida igual!!! Pedi un jalisiense de pollo y fajita k Cuesta $12.99, duraron mucho para servir la parilla, cuando llego tenia un pedasote de tripa!!!!! Le pedi ala mesera si cosinan todo en una parilla no me pudo desir pero es obio! Le pedi k cancelara la orden me quede con el side de frijoles arroz y ensalada y me cobraron $5.50 por el side no gracias no vuelvo

The service was not the best, but the food was horrible nasty. On top of that I got a skillet named the jalisiense which has fajita and chicken only that cost $12.99 which took forever so they brought me the sides first. By the time the skillet came I started on the sides, I noticed a huge piece of Intestine ( known as tripa) I asked the waiter if they cook everything together she was not sure. Any who I asked her to cancel that order I was not going to eat that or anything else from there. When I got the check they charged me $5.50 for the side of beans rice and salad don’t get me wrong I would not mind to pay something but you almost charge me half of what the plate was worth, but there was something I didn’t order on my plate. Ugh Never going back...

First time going into this restaurant and I was ordering my food for take out so I went straight to the window that says “to go” and there were two cashiers. None of them greeted us, they were just staring at me and my friend, until I asked to see a menu and one of them handed it to me. Customer service is horrible but the food is alright but definitely have had better. I never take my time to review places but this one I just had to. Then when they gave us our food the cashier had a nasty attitude probably cause I didn’t tip her but she didn’t deserve the tip at all. Not going back ever again.
