Say it ain't so, Timmy Ho's!!! No entry for stale doughnuts??? So I moved to Texas almost 20 years ago from NY and always dip into the Tim Hortons when I go back for a visit. Imagine my excitement when I spot the red and white sign leaving Houston Intercontinental airport! What, Timmy Ho's moving down south? Yes!! ( I was so excited I took a pic of the signage to show my NY friends). I pull the family into the parking lot with the intention of dragging them inside to check out the selection and smell the freshness when....wait, what? No go kiddos. No entry... They have the place set up like a sonic. You can order outside or through the drive - thru only. Huge bummer... But whatever, let's get some donuts right? Wrong! I must have told my kids about my favorite peanut donuts from Tim Hortons a hundred times...and.... Denied. Not available. They're not sold out, they just don't carry them here. At this point I don't even want an ice coffee double double, so I settle for a large box of Timbits. Guess what my friends? Yup - the assortment is a total of 3 different kinds of donuts that are pretty much what you get from the bakery section of Walmart except they are completely stale. I can see why the parking lot was empty. Tim Hortons: you broke my heart and wasted my 12 bucks.- please hold your standards if you...
Read moreI have been here many times now because it’s on my way to work. The first few times I didn’t like my coffee but kept ordering different until I found my perfect drink. I don’t like sweet drinks but just enough flavor- the pumpkin spice latte is perfect and not too sweet at all. As for the food- I wanted to like it but honestly haven’t found a single thing I would re order. I tried the bagel… twice, first time it was burnt and had the tiniest smear of cream cheese so I assumed it was just the service, so I tried again and ordered extra cream cheese- the bagel is so dry and plain it’s hard to even swallow and again no cream cheese (barely smeared on one side only). I also tried a breakfast burrito with no meat- honestly barely edible. Lastly I had tried the avocado toast and it was the most edible but still 6/10. I would say consistency isn’t there either. However I will keep coming back for my pumpkin spice latte- when it’s gone idk if...
Read moreTheeee slowest service. I had to get out of the drive thru lane bc it wasn't moving. I parked and ordered at the walk-up window. The experience was still slow. As a Canadian and my first time checking out Tim Hortons in Houston has been disappointing. We know that Dunkin Donuts bought Tim Hortons many a few years ago. When an American takes over good products, the product is about to be terrible.
Part 2: Food I ordered a medium double double and a bagel w cream cheese. Total 10.50. Coffee was basically watered down coffee w sugar and cream. The color wasnt even coffee color; it was beige. Nothing like the original in taste and look when I had it in Canada. Bagel was dry and tasteless. For the price, I could get a much better bagel at Einsteins w much more cream cheese. Dunkin donuts has ruined this brand. Never going back. And you...
