I've been here twice and both times I didn't have a good experience. The first time I went was in person and the service was horrible. I waited over 30 min for a spoon for the soup. When I asked for more chips and salsa it took over 20 min to bring. The place was slow and dead and not busy at all. However, it was clear they were doing interviews and or training for waitresses. This is still not a valid excuse for lack of customer service.
The second time I went was through the drive thru and that was even worse. I drove up and said hello several times and no one answered so I went to the window and it took them over 7 min to come and take my order. The big issue I have with this is that there were 2 Hispanic women staring at me and making eye contact the entire 7 min I was there at the window. So.... you can see that I'm waiting and you're not going to offer help? Terrible customer service.
There were no cars in front of me or behind me and it was around 6pm on a week day. Finally, after about 8 or 10 min a Hispanic man comes to take my order. He says it'll be 3 to 4 min for it to be ready. Guess what? It wasn't ready in 3 to 4 min! I waited 5 min, then 8, then 10, then 12 min and finally a different Hispanic man came to the window and asked what my name was for the order. I let him know the other man never asked for my name for the order but that I've been waiting too long. Finally he got my order after MORE THAN 30 min since I pulled up to the window. Absolutely terrible service, no excuses!
To make matters worse, when I got home, the crispy chicken tacos were NOT crispy at all, they hardly had any chicken, beans or cheese and the soup was cold. Again, no excuses do better. If you're short staffed that's not the problem of the patrons and customers. If you have 2 people in the back making the food and another 2 people gossiping who can't communicate with customers at the drive thru window, not my problem. But you shouldn't have the drive thru window unattended for 10 min or more at a time, it's simply unacceptable and poor business acumen. Do better.
If you're thinking about coming heredon't, just go somewhere else instead. Don't waste your time, money or energy here. They clearly need to hire at least another 2 to 3 workers and possibly fire 1 or 2. There are a vast amount of other places you can patronize in the area that will exhibit better...
Read moreThis Tostada Regia that is located where the old JCI was is very good. I have been here 3x since it opened 2x through the drive-thru and 1x dine in and I must say that all 3x my experience has been on point. I really want to point out how delicious the food is here especially the breakfast. The breakfast is soooo delicious well served portions and the flour tortillas are homemade. I also would like to say that the prices are very affordable. The service that I received from my waiter Santiago was very good. I look forward in returning and trying their humongous licuados. I highly recommend this tostada regia for their delicious food great service and amazing atmosphere.
Came back yesterday 02/14/2024 with my wife and mother-in-law to have a valentines breakfast and I must say that it's still my #1 spot for breakfast lunch and dinner. I really like the service we received from out waitress Vicky. She was very nice very patient and most of all very tentive. I also like the energy that the manager Carlos Aguilar has. He is very professional very respectful very kind and he is doing a wonderful job running this restaurant. The breakfast continues to be so delicious and we tried the humongous pancakes and they are very delicious. Those pancakes are so big and the order comes with 3 so hard to finish. I still strongly recommend this location whether it's dine in or drive thru you will enjoy the food and the service. If you go through the drive-thru Alexis does a great job taking your order and makes sure you receive everything. This is why I love this location so much. Everyone has great attitudes everyone is happy and it's just a great location because you have a manager running this place that knows what he is doing and knows...
Read moreWe use to go to the Tostada Regia on Airline or Tidwell or wherever in that area. We hadn't been in a loooong time, but we decided to try this location and we were so dissapointed. Two out of the 4 of us ordered tostadas and they tasted sooo old. I asked the waitress why it was drenched in oil and she said they've always fried them. I don't remember that at all, but these were DRENCHED and tasted so dull and stale like they fried those days ago. That, or the oil was old and re-used to many times. We told the waitress over and over but she never offered to change or refund. We did NOT eat the tostadas because one of them especially was for my kid and there was no way I was giving her that. The waitress also lacked good costumer service. She was nice and quiet but she never came around and we waited FOREVER for utensils (how are we supposed to eat), because she kept forgetting. When we would ask for more than one thing, she would literally bring one thing at a time and then go back for another. It was so annoying and our food was cold (the consome or caldo) especially. When we needed her, she was nowhere to be found, even another costumer got her attention for us. The restrooms (at the least the women's, was absolutely nasty. You could tell they don't clean or check restrooms once in a while. The soap was almost water. So overall, it was dissapointing completely and as we did not eat our tostadas, I figured we would get partial credit or refund, but nope, even after we told her they tasted...
