Villa Roma Pizza Company — Restaurant in Houston

I have used this pizza place for 10 years off and on. I like fresh mushrooms theirs are canned, so I use other pizza places at times, they are not bad, but it could be better. On Monday March 16th 2020. I placed my usual order of 2 large 2 topping pizzas for delivery, no issue. Waited for delivery and paid the delivery man. Opened the box to discover my order was wrong, eatable, but wrong, so I contacted them, and same person who took my order answered the phone. I tried to tell him I had already placed my order and couldn't get a word in after that, because he was too busy making up excuses why it hadn't been delivered yet, my favorite was "he's probably outside looking for you, go outside and look". I was finally able to make him understand that I received my order, then he said "ok, so what's the problem, you got your order" and when I told him that the order was wrong he proceeded to tell me I ordered it wrong, and I was confused and mixed up the order because I didn't know what I wanted, then he continued on to tell me how I should order, and not be so indecisive and only call when I know exactly what I want. This isn't right. I reminded him that I didn't have any issues placing the order, nor when he repeated the order back to me. I told him that it was absurd to blame me, and then he started saying "oh no I didn't say you were wrong", he proclaimed that the conversation was being recorded, then said "don't touch the pizza, I will make a new one the right way, but if you touch the other one I will not give it to you" I told him that I didn't want to wait another 45 min for a pizza, I was just letting him know that it was wrong, then he started with the yelling "you are not getting free pizza, I'll make the other one you ordered but no free pizza you have to give the other back" so, I told him never mind and I will never order from you again, to which he replied "F* YOU!" and slammed down the phone. This person has anger issues. This is not the right job for him, and is making the place look bad. He said he was the manager. at first when I first visited this place I gave it five stars because I did love everything about it. Now I don’t know if they have different people who cooked the pizzas but somebody who cooks the pizzas back there do not care about any of the ingredients sticking to the pizza… and then the reason why they’re getting one star from me today is because I constantly have to fight the guy with glasses (guessing the owner) for some extra Parmesan cheese!!!!!!

and it’s tiring every time I go I’ve paid extra for an extra pack or two of Parmesan cheese when I say I want extra Parmesan cheese I’m talking I want almost 7 packets of Parmesan cheese if I’m paying extra for Parmesan cheese I expect to see extra Parmesan cheese if I ask for extra Parmesan cheese I expect to see extra Parmesan cheese there’s no way in hell y’all are going to deliver a large pizza to somebody’s house with two packets of Parmesan cheese?!!!!! I don’t know if y’all are back there rationing or if y’all are in a recession or something but I’m tired of asking for extra Parmesan cheese at this point and now I’m bout to make it a problem every time I go in there and I ask for extra Parmesan cheese and I don’t get the extra Parmesan cheese y’all are not bout to have a peaceful day after because I love pizza but the best part about eating and enjoying warm pizza is the Parmesan cheese!

Until they actually start giving out more packets of Parmesan cheese upon asking I’m literally not gonna change my review and I hope that it steers people away that care about Parmesan cheese being on their pizza if you don’t care about Parmesan cheese or chili flakes this is the place for you but if you care about putting Parmesan cheese or chili flakes on your pizza do not go here because they are back there holding onto every single piece of Parmesan cheese as if their lives...

First off, the pizza itself isn't bad. Subpar. If you don't know any better it's the beezknees. I'm from Chicago where not only do we have the deep dish but the traditional pizza is amazing as well. Gino East, Unos, Tonis, Home Run Inn, house of Pizza. etc. It's nothing like that! Its good when you want a change from the papa johns and dominoes (doesn't even beat a pizza hut thin crust pep and sausage).

Now, Today! I ordered a pizza for delivery for the first time. Been in the store about 5 times. Delivery is free and that was definite plus. So, I placed my order. Let me mention, the the person taking my order cut me off at every letter and number. He hung up the phone before I could give him the gate code. So I said ok whatever...Walked my dogs, Rolled one. Hit half of it ha. Sat down. Chilled. Hour went by. Called to check. Owner acting as an employee tells me that the driver tried to call me many times. I understood that part. The Employee/owner then asks for my address again!?!? what? wait!? You never even clarified my address! You can imagine my outrage! He then proceeds with "give it 15 mins" as he did before. I said Sir wait! He was in a hurry once again. I asked if I would be receiving the hour old pizza. The owner said yes! We tried to call. I asked for a refund. He tells me that he wasn't the one that took my order. I mentioned earlier that Ive been into this joint 5 times. I know this voice and accent. But I digress I give him the card numbers over again and he tells me its gonna be 3-5 business days. I then say I want to speak with a manager because I'm now enraged first off on a personal note I haven't eaten all day even after working out and visiting guitar center. Im writing this as we speak actually. Never eating here again! Terrible customer service...
