The Magick Cauldron has been around since before I was born. I'm so glad to see them still alive and well. I purchased a few spell-related items today and have already felt a shift in my energies. #witchcraft #witchy #witch #magic #witchesoftiktok #witches #witchtiktok #witchtokrising #houston #magick #spell #spells #spelljar #spellwork #spellbound #hex #bindingspell #thecraft #montrosehouston #wicca #pagan #paganism #pagantok #goth #gothic #altar #gothtok #coldcave #spooky #paranormal #paranormalactivity #paranormaltiktok #paranormalinvestigator #thirdeye #buddhism #newwave #newwaveparanormal #ghost #ghosts

Bad energy. I knew it as soon as I drove up but I drove 30 mins to get to this place. I’m not from Houston so I was so excited to go there. The reviews looked good. My daughter said mama I don’t want to go in. I should’ve listened but I thought maybe it was the Stores dogs that were on the inside making me feel like that. Again I hated that I had driven so far. But I walk in and they have some really nice pieces. I couldn’t find ANYTHING that I wanted and I hate to drive places and not return with something. But the energy just didn’t feel right. I saw some oracle cards and was about to get them but then my daughter wanted a bell as soon as I was about to buy the bell the tall bald guy told me with a certain tone “mam you need to move your truck other customers want to come in”. Don’t believe me just go by there yourself. The store parking lot is really small and I drive an expedition. So expedition people you can’t park in their lot. The thing is I was parked beside the door.. I wasn’t parked inappropriately or anything and didn’t think I blocked anyone. I did want to park somewhere else since my truck is big but I’m not from here and I had no clue. So I guess other people’s service was more important than mine. I had just left another crystal shop with the exact same parking those people were nice and had absolutely no complaints.. but who would?? Aren’t parking spaces first come first serve. I don’t see how it was blocking anything. But I gladly put the bell down and left. My ancestors would not allow me to spend money in there. It was a little embarrassing bc he was so loud and people were looking. He actually looked mad as if I had did something to him🤣. I really don’t understand what I could’ve possibly done to get treated like that. He was actually helping me at one point (well can’t lie he was nice then and I still felt that energy) Like I looked around and just don’t see how I was blocking anyone...And if I was why the hostility?? I had my 4 yr old daughter with me. Imagine having to explain something like that to her..Maybe he just don’t like...

This place has gone straight down the drain. A few months back I was "greeted" by a tardy and rude employee, at the door of magic cauldron @10:04 on the morning (they are supposed to open at 10, and aren't employees supposed to arrive 15 min+ early to open and clean the store????) , who later lied to the owner about how I attacked his car, demanding to be let in, while he "in fear", finished his breakfast sandwich. Wow. I never approached his vehicle or banged on ANY window, or raised my voice in any manner. This guy was abt 6 feet and 300 lbs, but was "in fear" of me....right. Once I got inside he boasted to the other unhygenic employee about "oh, the world can wait" provocatively, right in front of me, as if he was challenging me, why else would you say sideways say something like that in front of a now unhappy customer? How was that helpful? The owner, after my being a loyal quiet customer for over 15 years, took their word. The workers were unhygienic, and the whole place was a wreck with trash boxes and things out of order with shelves empty, but say it was bc they were in the process of packing and shelving even though they both got to work late.. No, these were not boxes that just arrived, as the store had just opened, the boxes had been opened and just made the store look overwhelming and unfamiliar. I was blatantly lied on, the owner gaslighted me by insisting I was just having a bad day, when I in fact was happy before meeting the rude employee. I reluctantly bought what I needed, complained abt the mess and left without a scene. This store is not ideal if you follow hoodoo Santeria or the Orishas.. The prices are steadily raising and they do not care abt you as a customer anymore. I will miss John and Lilith but this place...

Decided to try out store for 1st time and grabbed a few items and waited roughly 10mins in line to check out. No problem there. Once I got to checkout, lady told me I had to buy $2 worth to use debit card. Once again, still not an issue. I didn't have cash on me, so I told her let me just grab 2 of what I already have, so she could just charge me twice in order to use my card and I would just grab the extra items on way out, rather then just holding up line behind me. She hesitated, and rudely huffed in annoyance and rolled her eyes at me. I decided to just cancel my purchase and walk away without anything further. For a patron trying to help your store during Covid, I found that entirely unprofessional and unwelcoming. I'm not one to ever write a bad review but my money only goes to those who can appreciate the business. I would have gladly given the store 5 stars for the selection it carries. The other staff were polite as well and very knowledgeable. But this lady, middle-aged with blonde hair, assuming it was the manager was not one bit pleasant. All you had to do is just ring up my items twice to meet the limit, no trouble, no attitudes. But that wasn't the case. I understand everyone has a bad day, but don't take it out on patrons helping your business out. Anyone else probably would have given you attitude back and caused a scene as rude as you were to me. But again, I'm civil and I thank you for...
