Capricci Pizzeria & Restaurant — Restaurant in Howell Township

This was my second attempt to web order from Capricci's. The first time there was a mix up with my wrap but the owner fixed it and had great customer service. This time, however....I ordered a Jazz platter and pasta fagioli soup. It took over an hour for them to deliver (only 1 driver, okay not a problem). The food gets here and the container the side salad was in was leaking olive oil and vinegar everywhere! It got on my deck, my shirt, my kitchen floor (an absolute mess, but okay fine it is what it is). I opened the food the salad was DRENCHED, no exaggeration, in olive oil and vinegar. The salad was not fresh and had many old yellow pieces in it (still okay, I'll live) BUT THEN I opened up the platter container and BOOM no sauteed spinach ....the whole reason I even ordered food. At this point all I felt was disappointment. I called them to make them aware and at first was told that I put "no steamed spinach" on my web order, which is correct BUT I also put substitute with sauteed spinach, and when he realized, I'll assume an employee and not the owner, he then offered to bring a side of sauteed spinach. They followed through and I got the sauteed spinach. Overall, not only was the experience bad but so was the food. The food had no flavor WHAT SO EVER and everything was either not fresh or watered down! Maybe a new cook? Who knows. All I know is that I will never order from this place again. It was...

We had our daughter’s first birthday in the private event room and it was EXCELLENT! From booking the event to cleaning up, Anthony and his team of staff were so friendly, professional, and courteous! Prior to the party, Anthony sat down with us and helped us make great choices for the buffet. He also let us drop off alcohol the day prior and refrigerated it so it was ready to go for the party. Anthony asked our theme and ordered linens to match and even changed the color of the lights in the room! The morning of the party, Anthony and his staff had the tables beautifully set and even had high chairs out where I requested. They helped vendors find areas in the room to set up. Throughout the party, the staff set up/cleared out all the food, refilled the drink station, cleared plates, and consistently checked on our guests to make sure everything was according to their high standards. Anthony, the owner, asked us several times how everything was going. The food was delicious and they even packed up the leftovers for us. I would highly recommend Capricci for any private event! We have also use Capricci for catering every year for Christmas Eve and they always do an amazing job! Our family always raves about the food! Lastly, Capricci is our go-to pizza place. Amazing pizzeria in Howell! This is right off Route 9 in a nice, well kept establishment. Everything we tried was delicious. The pizza was incredible! All good pizza has a strong crust, and the two pies we had were solid. The Romana pizza was like a saucy margherita pizza, but with more cheese. The sauce was robust and flavorful. I really enjoyed it! We also tried the "Thincredible" bar pie, which was fabulous. I really love thin crust pizza, and Capricci holds up very well to other establishments in the area that serve thin crust. It wasn't too paper thin, just enough to give that nice crunch. To this day I am still raving about it! I hope Dave Portnoy stops by and gives it a try!

Their salad was super fresh with exciting flavors, even some fresh avocado thrown in, with excellent house dressing that's homemade. The dressing was tangy and a perfect compliment to the salad. Their buffalo wings are also fresh, not frozen, and it was easy to tell when we ate them. We got the penne vodka as well. The sauce was magnificent and is my exact vision of what I expect penne vodka to taste like.
