I endured an exasperating wait of over 2 hours and 10 minutes today, despite being initially told it would only take 45 minutes. I arrived at the store 45 minutes post-ordering, anticipating some delay due to the usual evening rush. However, the situation escalated as I faced an additional 45-minute wait in the store, during which no staff member could provide a clear update on my order's status. My tracker frustratingly remained stuck on 'making' even 1.5 hours after placing the order.
Fed up, I requested a cancellation, but was met with a chaotic scene. Staff members aimlessly wandered in and out, vaguely assuring me they would 'take care' of it. After persistently asking for 30 minutes, a staff member finally asked me to jot down my name and order on a piece of paper that seemed to be carelessly tossed among other items. Exasperated, I left the premises, not before capturing a few photographs of the disarray.
During my agonizing 2+ hour wait, I observed numerous DoorDash orders being promptly fulfilled, some placed mere moments before. This blatant disregard for customers like myself, who had been waiting for 2 to 3 hours since ordering online, is utterly unacceptable. The store's refusal to cancel my order added insult to injury, resulting in a loss of over $25 and a total wait time of 2.5 hours. It's imperative for corporate to investigate this store's practices, particularly their apparent prioritization of larger orders while blatantly neglecting...
Read moreOrdered pick up from this location after a nine hour drive from Florida on Fri Jan 15th. We arrived at few minutes before 4pm and the parking lot was empty except for some delivery drivers in the back. We drove a long F250 that is great on the highway, but a pain to park.
We had called ahead, so I knew I would not be long and parked across 3 spaces so I would not stick out into the driving lane. There were at least 20 other places to park and no customers. Before I got out of the car, one of the delivery drivers pulled into a spot a foot away from my front bumper. I thought that was strange, but I could still back out. The pizza was paid for, so I ran in, and was out of the empty store in 2 minutes.
While inside, another delivery driver had parked in back of my truck to block me in. Hard to believe, I know, but in an empty lot two employees had taken the time to box in a customer. And they are standing 20 feet away. I said "Thanks a lot", and the guy with a foot cast that blocked the back of my truck says "You should not have taken 3 spaces" I said , sarcastically "Have a great day". He said, "Have fun getting out."
Took some effort, but with my wife and daughter in the truck, I managed to get out. Yikes. Not saying I was perfect, but time to rethink some hiring decisions.
Pizza was...
Read moreHad placed an order for delivery on their app. Waited to call them for a status update when they were finally 10 minutes late for delivery and an hour after the ordered was placed. I was informed by the guy that answered the phone that they “ran out of dough” and were backed up. He mentioned they had located some though, and were “creating” my order at the time. I asked for an update on how long till they delivered and he said to not quote him but MAYBE another 45 minutes. Needless to say, I have three children waiting for dinner, and now I’m going to have to make them something else since dinner might not arrive until 9pm or later. I asked if I would be compensated for their lack of disregard and he said to call back later and speak with a manager. I called corporate afterwards, and was told this would be escalated and the owner of the franchise would be following up with me. I never received a call or email. I will not be doing business with this location again, so ridiculous that I couldn’t get a call to be informed of the issue from the first place. I could have called an order in somewhere else instead of being disappointed in Papa Johns...
