Showmars Huntersville — Restaurant in Huntersville

I have eaten at Showmars my entire life (Even worked at one for 4 years) and I have had such horrible service in my entire life. Me, my mother, and my sisters came there to eat today after just I had surgery. My servers name today was Maya. She was the rudest person I've have ever had wait on me. I greeted her with a smile and asked how her day was going, she just starred at me with a blank expression and waited for my order. I told her what I wanted and gave her a few special instructions (extra honey mustard, and season salt) and not once did she say "ok" or "anything else". I handed her my card, told her to have a great day, and walked away. She did not say anything back to me. She checked on my table once with the same blank face that she had when she took my order. I was not told to have a good day or to come back to see you which is exactly what I will not be doing. I looked around for a manager but was unable to find one. I work very close to the restaurant so I come there all the time. Most of the cooks there know my face. I refuse to be treated with such lack of customer service when I easily spend $50/month there between my family and I.

I went to Showmars in Huntersville on Wednesday 6/24/20. I would love to know what safety measures you all are taking to protect the health of your workers and customers. The cooks, cashiers nor the servers were wearing masks and gloves. The only one wearing a mask and gloves was the manager. Employees were not washing hands in between serving customers and handling money. Also, one employee grabbed a customers used cup to refill his drink (without gloves) and then grabbed clean cups to restock them without washing his hands. Then, two employees left the food prep area and returned without washing their hands. The employee that was taking my order, prepared my drink without gloves and never washed his hands either!!! When I asked an employee if they’re supposed to be wearing masks, he responded “we might have to put them on if we get 2-3 more customers in the store”. Do...

Second time being at showmars. This is a different location but the experience is the same. The staff are all friendly but the value of the food doesn't line up with the money paid. Everything is run of the mill and nothing stands out as I need to have this again or even worth paying $10 per person. Also when ordering a small drink, it shouldn't cost $5. Now I will say that maybe the young man couldn't hear me well through the Plex glass and my facemask. But I asked three times and the answer remained the same three times.
