This library is truly exceptional in every aspect. From its excellent infrastructure providing a comfortable and welcoming environment to its extensive book collection covering a wide range of topics, there's something here for everyone. My 8-year-old son is particularly enamored with the engaging science experiments they conduct, which make learning fun and interactive for him and other kids. It's evident that this library is a gem in the community, offering innovative programs and activities that cater to both education and enrichment. Whether you're a bookworm or a science enthusiast, I highly recommend visiting this library—it's a must-visit for families looking for a place where learning and discovery thrive.

This library is fantastic! I used to come here all of the time before they remodeled it, and I liked it back then. It is even better now. The remodel is beautiful with lots of natural light, tons of comfortable seating, lots of plug in areas for laptop use, and friendly staffing as always. Positive vibes and a great place to focus and learn. Love it!

The newly renovated library is fantastic. There is a good kids section, maker space, library of audiobooks, music, DVD, and computers … Lot of cozy nooks and comfortable seats to wind down with a book. The library staff is super friendly and helpful. The library also runs a lot of programs for kids. Highly recommend it

I hope this review will find a board member or a trustee who has the ability to make a difference within the library community.

This particular library was just newly renovated so i had higher expectations than the surrounding meck libraries. The facility itself is very nice and open with many reading areas for its patrons, however, i was greatly disappointed with its children's area. There are some puzzles, a small chest of blocks, and a small stand for hand puppets along with various games and activities you can play at a table but nothing to involve small children. I understand this is a library and the goal is to engage your toddler with books but there should be more free play activities such as a play kitchen area or a market stand so children can come and use their imagination vs. the typical sit and follow instructions play. And as far as 0 to 3 yr olds, why can't this age group have a small play scape area with foam blocks for building or crawling on. Children of all ages should be able to engage with their peers and learn how to share or ask for something. This community cite should be a place where mom's can come together with their children so they can learn and have fun by using their imagination to free play and explore the area!

Lastly, I have never heard of a person not being able to obtain a library card based solely on their location. I understand that outside counties would not be able to have the same privileges as residents within the county..such as not having access to electronic books, however, this is the closest library location and i was told i couldn't check out books because of where i live. Needless to say i was offended and speechless.

The only reason i gave this library 2 stars is because the building was nicely constructed and had several chairs and...

The Huntersville library is one of my absolute favorite spots! The staff is incredibly friendly and kind, making everyone feel welcome. But what really sets this library apart is the wide range of services they offer beyond just book rentals.

For the crafty types, they have an amazing studio equipped with a 3D printer, sewing machine, and even button makers! Imagine being able to bring your creative ideas to life with access to these fantastic tools.

Gardeners will love their seed library, where you can "check out" seeds to plant and harvest, and then return the seeds from your harvest to share with others.

Bookworms of all ages will enjoy their book clubs, designed specifically for kids and adults. Plus, they have a craft club that's perfect for adults who love making things.

Overall, the Huntersville library is a vibrant community hub that offers something...
