Gah... I've always hated this location. The customer service is probably the worst you'll get in Huntersville. So I always just stayed away. But a few months ago I drove up and there was a pleasant voice over the intercom. Super nice, very helpful. I come to the window and notice a different person. Long story short, she was a "fixer" or something. She mentioned she was there to get the location under control and on the right track. Such a great experience when she was there. Made me a fan of Taco Bell again.
Then she left... Here's my story from 4/19 lunchtime: I decided to take my family to lunch, so we decided on Taco Bell. Me, my wife, and three kids. We walked in and stood at the counter for about 5 minutes. There were people running drive-thru but no one at the register. So I stood close to the register and coughed, lol. Nothing. 10 minutes goes by, I decided to just yell into the back. Of course they knew I was there, I'd caught eyes with at least two of the workers; but maybe pressing the issue that I knew they knew maybe would get us served. The manager comes out and was like, "Can I help you with something?" I was taken aback by his lack of understanding of the situation, and responded with, "Yes, can you take our order. We've been standing up here for 10 minutes." He was completely dismissive and said, "Yeah, just use the kiosk over there. We don't take orders at the counter no mo." My wife, who was keeping my hungry kids' attentions, was understandably annoyed by this interaction and replies with, "You could maybe put a sign or something on the counter to let guests know they need to help themselves?" To which the manager was like, "Taco Bell hasn't told me to do anything like that." He then just walked back into the kitchen and that was that.
Look, I get it, we're in a weird time where no one wants to work and those who do aren't necessarily the cream of the crop, so to speak. But to unilaterally just NOT take orders at the counter, without any warning, is silly. This whole interaction could have been made better by simply acknowledging us and explaining it to us. When a guest comes in, just take 5 seconds, greet them and tell them to use the kiosk. Offer to help if they have any questions. Have a good day, done!
I want the nice lady back, Taco Bell. She was fantastic. The guy they have in there now... clearly gives two-craps about whether or not his guests had a good experience or not. It's sad, all the work this lady put into turning this location around is back to how it was before she got there. I...
Read moreI placed an order at 9:50am on the app for 2 breakfast crunchwraps, 4 hashbrowns, 4 sides of Chipotle sauce, and a baja blast. That is 40 minutes before breakfast is over. I got there to pick it up 15 minutes later. The app said to go inside to pick it up. I got there and the door was locked. OK, whatever, I'll go to the drive thru. In the drive thru they had no idea which order I was talking about, and then eventually figured it out and said to pull around. The person in the window said they couldn't make my order because they were out of eggs and it would take 30 minutes to make them and that would be close to lunch time. 30 minutes...means they should've been making the eggs hardly after 9am if they were going to be out already by 9:50. I asked if they can refund it and they said on the app maybe but didn't know how. I couldn't figure it out and neither could they. They asked if they could make my meal for me without eggs. That would literally be a hashbrown and cheese in a tortilla. No. They asked if they could make me something else. Eggs are literally the basis for every single breakfast meal. No. They asked if they could make me something from the lunch menu. OK, cool, let's do two regular crunchwraps with the rest of my original order. OK, cool, let's do that. Order came out and only had 2 or the 4 sides of Chipotle I ordered. I asked for the other two. They asked if i could check the bag again. Still just 2. Y'all. Even after all that, I drove away happy with the substitutions. I had the hashbrowns and sauces. Cool. Took a bite of a crunchwrap and it was the hashbrowns and cheese we had already established would NOT work 🤦♀️ now I had to drive BACK. Called and asked the person on the phone if they could please make sure the two regular crunchwraps were made because I was late at this point. They agreed. Get there and am met with confusion. Eventually get the two regular crunchwraps. Drive off. Get home. Realize that in all of this ridiculousness, they never even gave me my baja blast. I am so easy going and write almost all positive reviews of places, had a positive one up for this place before now, but all I wanted was our dang breakfast 🤣 this was ridiculous. Your crew seemed liked they were having a good time together throughout all of this. Glad y'all have chemistry. Now let's fix the inconsistencies! I drove from Mooresville because y'all do a better job....

Everyone was very nice! My last visit I was a witness to an irate customer & the employees handled her very well!
My experience was something to talk about. I checked my order before leaving and saw that one of my tacos was all broken up into pieces. So I let the cashier know, and just simply asked for a replacement taco shell (fiery doritos locos tacos shell) . She went to go get it, then the manager just told her to make me another one all together. Only the cashier had already handed me my shell. The manager took that shell back from me & made yet another taco, so I received two extra fiery doritos locos tacos!
Not only this, I went to get my pink lemonade from the drink fountain & afterwards I took a sip. It was awful, so I told the cashier and she told me that it needed to be refilled. So while I waited, the manager asked me what I was waiting on. I told her the cashier said she was replacing the pink lemonade. The manager explained to me that they were out. So she handed me a large cup for me to get another kind of fountain drink & on top of that she gave me a free Skittles freeze!
I don’t drink sodas or tea, so I took a Baha Blast to my husband, and the Skittles freeze to my mom.
Wow! Talk about excellent customer service!!!!! Just wow!!!!
I took a video of the inside, however I cannot seem to post the footage. So I took a few screenshots of the video, which are rather blurry, so please bare with me on the photos.
In the photos the “purple” are black lights that illuminate the inside of the establishment , and the other photos are just of how the neat and clean the place is.
These pictures were taken just a few days after the...
