I donât write reviews often, but when a place becomes such a special part of your familyâs life, it deserves all the love and recognition in the world. Jelly Donuts isnât just a donut shopâitâs a place filled with warmth, kindness, and a sense of community that is hard to come by these days.
For almost two years now, my family has had a tradition: every Friday morning, if our kids have been really good throughout the week, we take them to Jelly Donuts for a special treat. And let me tell you, itâs not just about the donuts (though they are hands-down the best around!). Itâs about the people. Every single time we walk through the door, weâre met with smiles, kindness, and a level of hospitality that makes us feel like family.
The owner is incredibleâshe goes out of her way to make our kids feel so special, remembering their favorite treats and always taking a moment to chat with them. They light up every week, not just because they get to pick out a cool donut, but because they genuinely look forward to seeing her and the amazing staff. They spoil us with kindness, and itâs something that has turned a simple donut run into one of our most cherished family traditions.
If you havenât been to Jelly Donuts yet, do yourself a favor and go. Not only will you find the best, freshest donuts in town, but youâll also experience the kind of warmth and hospitality that makes you want to keep coming back. Supporting a small, local business has never...
Read moreIâll be honest 1st impressions are a BIG DEAL for me and my husband. This was our 1st time in ANY Jelly Donut store and we went in, I asked the lady behind the counter a question about the filling of 2 donuts and she answered me as if we had no money and she wanted us to hurry and leave her store. Another lady came in behind us and the lady behind the counter acted as if she couldnât wait to serve the lady that came after. She wasnât even finish serving me (I had to get my own receipt out of the machine that they ring peopleâs orders from and she saw that I did that but still continued on in the manner she was.) Needless to say I didnât think twice about a tip! News flash, you may want to consider not treating your customers like theyâre the gum on the bottom of your shoes because attitudes count and not just the items Iâm getting. I will never step foot in this location again! Maybe a person at another store can redeem the carelessness and thoughtlessness that this 1st visit with a rude employee left me with. My husband and I love to travel to different places to eat at all the time and Iâm real big on making reviews on Google, so much so that I have over 2M views of my comments. This one was such a nuisance that I couldnât pull off without making sure I made this review asap so that I could document every detail. The donuts were good but the attitude of this woman messed up the...
Read moreLove these donuts and so does my family. They are a little pricey but are big donuts!! I just wish their hours were a little later. They close at 4!
EDIT:I need to make an edit on my last review. Great donuts and staff BUT they never make enough donuts! They say they are open until 4 pm but they run out at 12 noon almost every time!! I have driven from Mooresville 6 different days between 11 and 1 pm and they are already out and closed! I can't come early because of my job, but if the owner knows they run out by 12 then they should make more donuts or close at noon! It's so frustrating to go there and not get in or have them be down to 5 donuts.. and they are always the glazed twists and not the yummy frosted donuts! Not to mention the work on exit 23 and the road construction there is a nightmare! We have decided not to go there until they start making more donuts. They would make way more money too if they understood that when they are constantly sold out early, they need to...
