I’m convinced this place only hires morons. I went here for a little SBA (spring break adventure) back in April. The reason it took me so long to finally write this review is because i forgot the name of it much like our waitress forgot my aunts order. First, i indulged in one of the fresh juices available on the menu. There was a choice of a kale one, a ginger one, and an orange flavor one i think (don’t remember and i don’t care to check) ((not important but anyway)). Upon my request to order the kale flavoured one i was promptly denied and told they ran out. the reason i took this so personally was because less than 250 steps to the south was a gift shop in the resort itself that sold the very kale smoothie i wanted. you guys rlly can’t take them from the gift shop fridge and sell it back to me at an even more inflated rate? a little redonk-a-donk to put it professionally. and if anyone was wondering, i got the orange one instead. Moving on to the main courses, i got the avacado toast or “AV” for short which was as good as it gets. I appreciated the turnips served with it and so did my aunt while she starved because the waitress forgot her meal. (did i mention that?) anyhow, my mom got a salad maybe? i don’t really remember, much like the waitress with my aunts food. you wanna know what really gets me? is the lack of accountability management and the waitress had when they forgot her meal. not even admitting a mistake shows how bad management and the staffs care for customers is. just admit a mistake was made and it would have been all good. Instead the waitress neglected to apologize to us and instead the food runner came out and apologized. nevertheless i understand mistakes happen and it’s human nature, it was how the situation was handled that really disappointed me. if you hate your aunt, this is the perfect place to take her. the food was what you would expect and the smoothie drinks they serve are the same as the gift shop inside the hotel so don’t waste your time ordering one. Overall a “ehhh” experience. Lōrea? more like don’t get your order you ordered-ea. Boom. I’d like to see a better...
Read moreWow—Lōrea absolutely delivered on every level during our dinner. From start to finish, the experience was exactly what we were looking for. The atmosphere, the food, the service—it was all on point.
Our server Jonathan was outstanding—professional, genuine, and totally dialed in. He knew the menu inside and out and helped guide us to the perfect choices. Huge shoutout to Anna, the supervisor, who stopped by to check in with us, and we even had the chance to meet Chef Scott—such a cool touch that made the night feel extra special.
Let’s talk food: the Lobster Mac & Cheese is a straight-up game changer—rich, flavorful, and unforgettable. I had the fish & chips, and the potatoes were next level, covered in this addicting salt & vinegar dust that I’m still thinking about.
And the cocktails? The Love Letter was incredible—so good that I made a mental note to come back and work my way through the whole drink menu (next time, when my boss isn’t with me 😄).
The presentation of everything was beautiful—definitely Instagram-worthy (my stories were on fire that night). And the live music added the perfect vibe to the evening.
Can’t wait to come back with my wife—it’s got “date night” written all over it. Total gem in...
Read moreI wanted to leave a good review here but the experience was far below what was expected for a restaurant like this. First we were seated an hour later than our reservation time because they were “busy”, that includes waiting 10min at the hostess stand before anyone even showed up to greet us. Then after we get seated they seat us at a shared table because if they didn’t we would have had to wait even longer. After ordering and receiving our food, we attempted to order an additional appetizer at which point the server told us the kitchen was closed now and we couldn’t order anything else. We told them we were seated an hour late and weren’t notified of any last call for the kitchen and they told us it was still a no. We asked for the manager and even he argued with us that the kitchen was closed and after a few minutes of complaining he finally allowed us to order an appetizer. Once the bill came not a single concession, apology, nothing. Only reason we left a tip and I’m giving two stars is our waitress was great especially for someone who doesn’t usually serve. A restaurant of this caliber needs to do way better if they want to...
