Wish I could give this place a better review because the location is awesome, people there were cool, food/drinks decent and live music was great. My problem is their deceptive false advertisement. Website reservations show on Sundays the place is open until 8pm and I reserved a fire pit. Was with my group and they told us yesterday Sunday that they close at 6:30pm. Why would anyone reserve a fire pit knowing the sun sets at 7:40pm and would never get a chance to use it? Deceptive, or unawareness at best. Either case I shouldn't have to pay $250 for a reservation I couldn't even use. Not only that, the person in charge of setting this all up is extremely hard to get a hold of. I had to send 3 separate emails asking for a receipt PRIOR to the day of my reservation and she still hasn't provided that. So who knows if I'll ever get a refund if Ali can't even provide a receipt.

Parking costs. Free admission to here. Live music. Behaved dogs (on leash) and kids allowed. Plenty of seating (some shaded) if you're willing to share tables. Crowd is nice and willing to share. NO outside food and drinks. They sometimes check bags. You'll need a 21+ wristband from the front entrance to buy drinks at the bar. The public restroom is located left of it, outside of the bar but its not a problem to get back in. On a labor day weekend with the band playing at 2pm. The parking can get crowded around 3pm. The bar closes around 9pm? People are there until night. There is dancing space in front of the stage. The whole venue is outdoors, and mostly with sand. Always fun times here!!

Imagine coming to area from out of state & having planned a day here. Calendar says it’s open. Drive to state park, pay $20 to get in park, unload car & dog, walk over to SeaLegs 10min to open. Poster hanging there says live 80s music on Sat 10-1, website calendar still says it’s happening. NOPE. Apparently they had a private event later in the day so decided not to open to public at all that day😡. Super messed up. Other couple we talked to planned & had rode their bicycles 10 miles to SeaLegs to see the band only to find it not happening like we did. Not cool!

Only went once and though I love the entire concept of this place I haven’t been back due to the service and weak drinks.

Beware of paying cash!! The price of my first drink and second drink changed even though I got the same drink. This was the same experience for my friend the same day (so I’m not sure if it’s the place or one bartender in particular). When I questioned the change in the price of my drink the bartender said the person who helped me before must have charged me wrong (but it was the 2nd transaction that didn’t match the price posted on the drink list).

I tried the Margarita slushy from the machine and I can tell you it was all syrup and no alcohol. I was hoping that by the second drink there would be alcohol added because I truly thought they had just not added it to the slushy machine when I got my first drink since we got there at opening. I did not bother with another drink.

Seating can be rough. Within one hr of opening a lot of spots are reserved and it did seem to fill up quickly. Our party of 2 was coerced into sitting in a circle of 6 chairs and so sat with strangers. Great for a social day, but I was there to catch up with an old friend so I would’ve appreciated being able to move the chairs how we wanted.

I saw it on one of my morning walks that this location was set up for a wedding that seemed simple and pretty. Also, they have live music for certain events and weekends. Tickets can be bought and areas reserved. They have chairs and a few cabana spots. Seems cool in theory though I have not tried this so I cannot review either experience. These are options for events at this location and just wanted to share what I’ve seen on my walks by. Also, good to know to help avoid certain crowded times if that’s not the vibe you are looking for.

I wish I had a better experience because the beach is my happy place, but this spot seemed overpriced for a fussy experience. I may try again and will update my review if I do. For now I will keep walking the boardwalk and enjoying the...

Scam Warning: So you'll see comedy acts doing performances at SeaLegs, and you may think, "I'll buy some tickets!" You click the link for the show you want on the appropriate date ON THE CALENDAR (this is important) and you find yourself at feverup.com to purchase tickets from this very shady outfit called 'Fever.' You'll also be forced to download the Fever app to get your tickets.

Anyway, what many of us have found out the hard way is that, if the show you want is sold out, Fever won't tell you this during the purchase process. They'll let you think you're buying the tickets you want, but instead they will sell you tickets for some random future show. Then you show up at the venue on the show date, thinking you have tickets, only to be told, oh, sorry, look at this tiny date in the app--you have tickets for three weeks from now! So sorry! But you can get a refund! The SeaLegs people are totally in on this. The night I went, I saw many people turned away for this wrong-date scam, and the 'you can get a refund' thing is a known lie they will tell you.

Fever won't refund anybody, period. So SeaLegs and Fever are co-conspirators in this scam to rip you off, and they are making tons of money on unethical and probably illegal business practices. Don't fall for it. Just say no to SeaLegs and Fever. They are...
