Great Mediterranean food. It’s right along PCH and they are open for indoor and outdoor seatings now. We came to Huntington Beach with a friend to have a ride on his boat. When lunch came, he asked if would like to try this great Mediterranean food restaurant. We didn’t regret the decision. The food here are fantastic. We love all the things we ordered. Before the main dishes came out, the restaurant owner gave us two plates of pita breads freshly made. They were so food. I instantly devoured three pita breads with garlic butter dips. When my food came out, I smelt great fragrance of the food. My chicken kabob was cooked right and the meats were so tasty and tender. The shrimp skewers were also very delicious. My wife had a Kafka kebab. I tasted a piece, the marinated beef meat tasted so good. The whole dish was wonderful. We don’t have a chance to eat Mediterranean foods that much as we don’t have a lot of middle eastern food near where we live. This restaurant really have a good selections of the wonder Mediterranean food. My friend also told me that he got very comments from the people he’s been being here to eat.

My wife and I have been several times here during our college years and we truly enjoy this place! The service was alright this time but the food made up for it. Here’s what we ordered: Appetizers: their complimentary pita bread was fluffy and tasty and garlic dipping sauce was delicious. Mediterranean pizza: this was an amazing pie as it tasted delicious, was fluffy, and not too doughy. Most important part of a pizza is the dough and it was on point and fresh. Golden olive mushroom: it was good! The meat was tender and the dough was perfect. Eggplant and falafel wrap: the falafel wrap was very lovely but the eggplant was even better. It would have been nice if they gave hummus on the side. Chicken platter: we were expecting a tastier chicken because it was not flavorful, seasoned well, nor spicy enough. Rice was decent. Chicken warp : the chicken was moisty and cooked well! The only thing problem was the tomato was not chopped small enough. Overall, food was fantastic and highly recommended as its location is also amazing right next to the beach!

I tried Golden Olive for the first time, and I am struggling with how I'd like to review the restaurant. The food was excellent, no doubt, but the service was so crazy that I just can't overlook the customer service experience I received. First, I ordered 5 plates an hour in advance to ensure my order would be ready. I was attending a very important business meeting and this was the food my clients chose. When I arrived to pick up my order, the guy told me that the person who had left 5 min ago took my order (he never takes ownership and admits he gave my order to them). He gets on the phone and starts profusely calling to get ahold of the customer that just left. After 5 unsuccessful minutes, I asked him to please start my order again, as now I feel the reality that I may be late for my meeting. He tells me, ok, they will make it. 20 minutes later, I am still there with no food, and finally, he packs everything up and hands it to me. I now have to let my client know I will be late, and I arrived about 20 min late. As I am in my meeting with my client, I receive 7 phone calls in a row, all from the Golden Olive, 3 voicemail messages, and 2 text messages. Since I was late for my first meeting, it subsequently made me a little late to my next meeting, and I arrived very flustered. I wonder why all the phone calls from the Golden Olive, so I call as I am walking into my second meeting, only to find out they made a mistake and credited me my payment and need me to give them my credit card so they can charge me again. I didn't have time to do this before the meeting so I told him I would call him at 8:30 p.m. My meeting ends late, and I have another 2 voicemails and 2 text messages asking me to pay. OMG! The ordeal lasted until 9:00 p.m. when I was able to call him with my credit card. The whole incident just ruined my whole evening. No offer to give me a discount, they didn't offer to throw some free pita my way, no coupon for my next visit...nothing! SMH...

First of all this reviews for the pizza in the wings only their Mediterranean food is excellent! We have eaten there a few times and the Mediterranean food is amazing. We figured we might try and order a pizza considering they have a nice oven and I didn’t impress. First of all rule of thumb when making wings is that you don’t need to coat them or bread them. When you do and pre-cook them, and they sit out, they get soggy. I make better at home. This place has a nice oven and the pita is made fresh but the pizza was DEFINITELY undercooked and soggy. It seems like they put it into the box right out of the oven, considering this was a pick up order and they didn’t know when I was going to arrive. But when you do that, the steam builds inside and just makes it completely soggy. The flavors are excellent, but the cooking technique Needs to be better. Cook it a little longer make the underside actually crispy, let it rest and don’t put it in the box right away. I’d rather have crispy cool pizza and soggy hot. Not good for $40.

Pretty overpriced for what it is. Let's start out with the good, their bread is excellent. The hummus was good, nothing out of the ordinary. The falafel patties were ok, cost 6.99 and they look like they are decent in size on the menu but they are tiny, thin, have a whole and less than two inches in diameter. Definitely overpriced. But the biggest disappointment was their Batata Harra which is supposed to be a potato dish (had it many times, but just Google it) and they sent a small box of greasy potato chips, no special spices or anything. 5.99 for a small box of greasy potato chips (picture attached) - and when we called because we thought they forgot the Batata Harra and we asked are the potato chips supposed to be it maybe, they said yes, so clearly they know their own scam.

Everything was really good. The lady really nice, fast service, the presentation of the food was not bad at all, although I was disappointed with the humus, since its taste was badly spoiled. Probably they didn't know that, but I can tell was bad (I usually make handmade humus at home). I was embarrassed to tell them about it, because the lady was really nice. I didn't want her to feel bad and also especially because I was in hurry too and I didn't want to wait. Good price, except Turkish coffee, they charged me 4 dollars for it. It was coffee made with water without straining the grounds. I do not care about that way of making coffee, because many times I do it the same way at home, but I think it is overprice.
