After waiting 30 or so minutes for my bowl of ramen, I cannot in good conscience give this place a high rating.
The food is superb, from the hand roll I had and the ramen, but there are two faults here that I need to point out. One - my mom and I came in before two other parties, yet they had all their orders out before ours and they ordered the same amount we did. One actually closed out and left before our main course was served. 🤦♂️
Second, the timeline between my hand roll and the half-hour for my bowl of ramen to come out is too much. I don’t know how this place prioritizes their clients and flow, but it’s good practice to serve food on a first come first served basis and not what’s convenient for the kitchen. We literally ordered three dishes, but as stated above - both parties finished their meals and checked out and we arrived here way before them.
For the record we ordered one bowl of ramen, a hand roll and a sushi roll so it’s nothing complicated, yet being put on the back burner made me feel extremely awkward and unwelcome. I understand that it’s a fine balance running a restaurant, but at the end of the day - you’re in the hospitality business and simply having good tasting food is inadequate.
TL;DR - hospitality is lacking, but the food was good. Would avoid if you’re on a lunch break and/or a...

My food restrictions narrowed after watching the Seaspiracy documentary on Netflix, and I stopped eating fish for months.
Although my body wasn't affected by this decision, my tastebuds were sad. I missed the comfort and the yum--factor of sushi, which were a go-to meal (particularly without rice) before photoshoots.
Enter: Tama Sushi. Haven of both vegan, pescavegan, and carnivore options.
I wish this place existed in Los Angeles.
Although I inhaled my Bumble-afforded dinner too quickly to document its deliciousness via photos, its memory still cozies me.
Order: -Vegan Miso Ramen. I adore how miso soup is included with every order (the equivalent of chips & salsa at Mexican restaurants) but this is worth the additional investment. -LB Vegan roll -Mango Tango roll -Magic Mountain roll
Skip: -I regret nothing.
Bonus points for such a friendly, allergen-accommodating staff, especially since we arrived 30 minutes before closing. They didn't rush us, and went out of their way to ensure their dishes accommodated my quirky dietary...
Read moreWe were sitting right away. However, we weren't impressed by the service. We came in hungry, hoping to have a good first experience here, but ended up being attended to and served after someone else who came in after us. As someone who has worked restaurants for almost a decade, i wasn't pleased. We were about to leave when suddenly we finally got our food. If it wasn't for the chef, we probably would've waited longer to get menus and left sooner. However, the rolls were drowned in sauce and mayo WAY too much. Barely can taste the fish and was not a well-rounded taste as well as inconsistency all the way through.. I see the direction they wanted to go but was not executed structurally or taste wise. Unfortunately, I was hoping to have some AMAZING rolls considering how long we had to wait to get them, but they were not amazing it was rather "MEH".. If it wasn't for the chef being WELCOMING and not being charged for the vegan roll, we would put 1 star. Ps- THE SUGGESTED TIP RATES ARENT MATHEMATICALLY ACCURATE, THEY ADD MORE ON AS IF WE...
