Tacos Gavilan — Restaurant in Huntington Park

I had never visited this restaurant chain previously, but some of my relatives had suggested that I visit Tacos Gavilan as they claimed it was the best Mexican restaurant chain ever. I am so glad to report that they were absolutely right!! The restaurant had plenty of parking and as soon as I walked in to the restaurant I was overwhelmed by how clean and beautiful the place was. The cashier was so kind and the prices were definitely reasonable. I recommend visiting on a Tuesday for their Taco Tuesday special, you save $1 per taco. I ordered a burrito and the price was super reasonable for the humongous burrito they gave me. When I went inside the restroom I found that they were incredibly clean. I usually do not go to the bathroom in public restrooms but the restrooms in Tacos Gavilan we’re super clean and safe. They are locked so you have to ask a worker to open it for you. TERRIBLE!!!! Never ever coming back! Use to be my favorite taco spot till today. My husband ordered a mulita for me and as I opened it to check my meat we spotted out a hair, my husband approached the cooks nicely and told them about it all they did was laugh and said they'd do another one. We noticed the cooks were too giggly so we checked the mulita again just to spot more hair in it. As we got disgusted and very disappointed he approached the cashier for a refund and the manager had the nerve to laugh at him and say the meat comes with animal hair. We are not idiots to not know the difference between animal and human hair. I could swear the cook probably got a hair cut before work and didn't shower after. There's a male cook /cashier that has no people skills and DEFINITELY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS WHAT'S SO EVER Didn't quite see a name badge but, will ask his name next time because this isn't my first encounter with him he's always that way even the way he speaks to his coworkers As if he's the owner and is running the show there but, honestly his attitude is as if he's given us the customers the food and UHM, sorry little guy but, I think he needs a reality check it's on the contrary we the customers make it possible for you to be standing behind the counter and more than anything we make it possible for you to take the check you take home Maybe he's never thought about that one so he might need some boss / manager counseling so they can explain that to him and maybe it'll register and he can have a better attitude.
