Cheeseburger Bobby's — Restaurant in Huntsville

The food quality is amazing and the people are awesome.

This place was soooo gooood! And the people who own it and work there were so nice. We got to chat with them for a minute and they were real nice people who are trying to make their mark on the world by providing Huntsville a high-quality burger, fast casual dining alternative to the grease dripping, low quality, big box chains you can get anywhere.

When I first walked in, I thought the place gave off Five Guys vibes. And while the atmosphere was similar, they are not the same. Cheeseburger Bobby's is awesome because you get to build your own burger. Literally! They cook the meat, melt the cheese, top it with Bacon (if your into that sort of thing), put it on a super-tasty toasted bun... and you take it from there. It is a build your own Burger Bar! They had pretty much every topping you could think of - multiple types of lettuce, different types of onion, tomatoes, pickles, peppers, sauces, EVERYTHING!

Their fries are crispy golden, cooked to perfection, soft in the inside, crispy on the outside goodness. They have a dozen different salts and seasoning to personalize and have them the way you want. I went with the Salt & Vinegar, then added a dash of jalapeno... So, so, so GOOD!

I will definitely be coming back to this place. I hear they're custard is amazing too... So have to come back for that. But, the food... I'll be back for the food. If you want a tasty burger, great fries at a decent price... Support the local owners of Cheeseburger Bobby's. You won't be...

We stopped by this place at 11am today to try it out since we've never been before! First of all the menu is super confusing. Everything is a la carte, really unusual for a drive through burger joint. I couldn't understand the person taking my order and had to ask her to repeat herself several times. That's not a problem, just a little challenging in a drive through. I wanted to order two meals. Fries, drinks, and burgers. I asked several questions while in the drive-through like, does this come with fries? Do I have to order everything separately? They replied that it is whatever you want. After waiting for a while for the food with my increasingly impatient one-year-old in the backseat, I get the food and it is just a burger for my meal. No fries or anything like that. So I said they're waiting for someone to notice me and a guy comes to the window. I can only assume he was the manager/owner from the way he spoke to me. I explain to him that I wanted two meals, to which he replied "that's not what you ordered I was listening". WOW. If you were listening to how much of a struggle it was to figure out the menu and order what I wanted, why didn't anyone say are you wanting the meal with fries? There was no apology, like sorry for the confusion. The response I got was you are wrong, we are right. I will not be going back.

Besides the customer service aspect, the burgers were mediocre, and the fries had no salt on them. The peach...

Kelsea is a gem! She was personable with everyone she interacted with, and I could tell she was focused on the customer experience. I ordered online because my plan was to pick up my food on my way back to work. My appointment did not take as long as I expected, so I went in to add a drink to my order and to get an idea for the size of the fries. So here is what I learned while I was there:

1. When you order online and you select "have us build it" you have to tell them what you want them to put on your burger (and there should be a drop down for you to tell them what you want.

2. Think of it like a build you own burger place...you order the baseline burger, and then you get to go down the line to add whatever is on the bar to your burger. (I got there shortly after it opened, so I felt comfortable with the open buffet style bar.)

3. Kelsea was focused on the customer experience. I heard her tell the people working in the back to go ahead and make my order (they were slower on the inside)...someone must have asked why and told her what time I was scheduled to pick it up. She informed them that I was already there and waiting. The initiative she took was on another level. Based on my interaction with her today, I plan to bring my family back to try this place. ...
