I do not even know where to begin with the service we received this evening. After we got seated, our server came up to us and asked our drinks and introduced herself. She then walked over to put our drinks in and then came right back to ask us about appetizers and double check our two drink order and then reintroduced herself. For reference, we were sitting right by the kitchen entrance and I believe an order putting in station. We asked for an appetizer and then she reintroduced herself, double backed on our drink orders, and then asked us if we were ready to order. All within 5 minutes, this back and forth went on. We were rushed. After another 5 minutes, I received my water and she had stated they were out of Dr Pepper that my partner ordered and he ordered a different drink which she also double/triple checked before bringing. We sat there almost 35-40 minutes before we received our appetizer. Mind you, at this time, they were not busy and she had us and two other tables. We had ordered a triple dipper. We had one egg roll left on our tray, that we were about to finish, when she came back over and grabbed the tray and asked if we wanted the last egg roll. I grabbed it as she was taking the tray off our table and she proceeded to look me in my eyes and said, “well you might as well eat the last one since you had already eaten everything else.” I gave her the benefit of the doubt on her comment because I had noticed she wasn’t alert at all to her surroundings and probably did not mean it in the way it was preceded. Another 15-20 minutes go by and I had got my meal while my partner didn’t as to where he was waiting on fresh fries, she said. 5 minutes go by and he gets his food and she asked him if he had gotten enough fries and if not then she would grab the rest. I took that comment as they only gave him a half serving of fries, which they did. Then our waitress literally threw our check on the table. After this run down and wait time, we had lost our appetites. Couldn’t find our waitress so had to have someone grab us a box and to check us out. They brought our waitress back and she was complaining about how the table across from us didn’t tip her! At this point, I did not even want to pay for my $62 meal, let alone tip her. We got our box and she took my card to close us out. On her way back to hand me my card, she went to another table, then our table and then walked my debit card into the kitchen with her!!! I watched her walk in and out of the kitchen twice before returning my card to me!! And then complained more about not receiving a tip from the previous table. I waited for her to leave to sign her copy. I normally tip my waitresses really well, but I could not bring myself to do it. I crossed out the tip line and walked straight to the front and told them that I received the worst service I’ve ever had from any restaurant. They were really nice and told me I could call the store or leave a Google review. I’m sorry for the lengthy review but something has got to change. We were seated over an hour and did not enjoy our...
Read moreI can say I've never received service this bad!!! We got there and it wasn't busy we did go in as a time so that it would not be as busy as during a rush hour.
Got seated took drink order no big deal and I think she probably took her order about 15 to 20 minutes later which still not a huge deal
Another lady brought out our cheese fries but it did not have any ranch and I saw someone walk by and I said hey can I get some ranch and she snapped at me and said yeah.
Okay still no big deal because it's not our waiter
We finally get our food which wasn't too big of a white but my food was totally incorrect I got a sandwich instead of the Buffalo fingers that I had asked for.
Okay still no big deal they can fix it
She brings out another plate and it is chicken tenders no buffalo sauce.
I told her and she tried to argue with me that they can't do it which I know they can because that's how I always get them.
Still I understand that people have a really hard time in restaurant industry and she probably took a playback there and had them refix it
So here we are the third time she brings my plate back by this time my husband has completed his meal
And the order again is incorrect it is barbecue chicken fingers
At this point I asked for a manager and she huffed at me
The manager did refund my meal
I don't feel like that even came close to making up the fact that I did not get to eat a meal with my husband and I chose to go out to lunch with. I am very dissatisfied with the way the service has gone downhill here it has been a couple of months since we have been here.
I also feel like the manager tries to speak through not refunding my whole meal by adding the chips that we only got because of the fact it came with my meal
I hope the store manager can get the store in order there have been too many restaurants to go downhill because of the way that customers are...
Read moreOk so this review covers two visits. One several months ago when after we left we said we would never go back. We were met by hostess with a huff and she said “This isn’t my job but I’ll seat you.” We believe anyone can have a bad day so we forged on. 30 minutes later the same young woman came and took our drink orders. There were 5 of us. 30 minutes later we got drinks and she took our order with obvious disinterest. Nobody altered anything or asked for replacements or in any way added to the job’s requirements for decent service. Still, she managed to botch the order but by the time the food arrived, another hour and fifteen minutes later, we just accepted it. This was the third or fourth time service had been less than stellar. We have never had that problem in Chilis elsewhere, outside of Madison, AL. Today, we decided to give it another go since we were on that end of town and traffic was heavy. It was 1:15 so past the lunch rush. There were 3 servers moving about and 4 tables with customers. All 4 top, no large tables. As usual no seating hostess. We stood around waiting to be seated for a few minutes and were ignored. Then we looked a little closer. No less than 7 tables needed bussing. Flies were hovering over the leftovers on those tables. We did what seemed reasonable and walked next door to IHOP where the service was amazing even if the food wasn’t what we had in mind. Our server who doubled as a friendly host got a very nice tip. He seemed to be the only one there besides whoever was in the kitchen and yet he managed several tables, kept the place bussed and was friendly to boot. Whoever the management is at Chilis could use some tips. Never have we seen such surly disinterested service. This time we really won’t be back. Honestly, I’m shocked it’s still in business. Definitely NOT a good place to eat and after seeing the mess today, I do not trust...
